wait a minute, that guy gives you one hell of an advantage!
you should be able to easily combo the whole room with that extra slapdash, which would include the matuvus for 2000 points

It would certainly make it a whole lot easier to take a last Matuvu for 1.500 points in combo. I don't see how it can help getting it for 2.000 points though, unless you are able to continue the yellow gems combo from the room with the Piggybanks. Can't see if that's possible from the photo. If not, then you only have fourteen objects before the last Matuvu, and the Vortex would run out anyway before you can collect all fourteen objects.

It would however save hours upon countless hours of agony, frustrations and restarts if we had this Slapdash as well. :pfff:

Even though the thread wasn't really active all the past week, it was good to see an intensive conversation being possible the days before :P

As for me, I'm happy to announce that I finished SBTC with a score slightly over 111k :mryellow:
Of course more is possible for me since I used DTUCC's trick instead of the launching glitch, sliding to the very edge and make some rotations there to keep the combo going, but I'm satisfied anyway.
Since 20k points were shaped of my previous highscore as I couldn't find my 838k one anymore, I'm now at 829k. The possibilities are wide though, as I haven't the max scores in HH and CF, neither the new max in LOTLD and only 88k in TBOM. I'm far behind in FC as well and I'll also investigate in TOTL. And who knows what might still be possible in the game.

I know you as a good player at the HH, I wish you good luck. As far as I knew is it possible to skip the Heckler in the First Combo in Part 2, but you have to get more than 26000 points after part 1 (I made it with 26000/75900/98059/109009).

BOM is a nice level, it's even 7 years later very classic to play. I got a score of 90312, when I played it last time, I tried to get 76000. The Razoff-Glitch in combination with the Dungeon-Trick could open a new dimension of score for you. One nice advantage of the BOM is, when you made it through the 3rd part with more than 43900 points, almost every final score is available for you. Hitting Razoff 3 times for 95000 points would be a great increasement for you. I wish you best luck.

Well, CF is a very nice level to play, even if you have to get used to play for an maximum-score in part 3. Part 2 is a nice challenge, and has a good mix of new difficult combos and a very classic way to play in the end. Part 3 wouldn't be the biggest challenge, but you HAVE to get an exactly score in the end, and could end up in a messy way to play, because I know my scores after playing part 3 for some times - with the same score after part 2 - very different, so maybe you have to make a plan here.

Thanks a lot man, appreciate it :)
HH indeed is my next target. I've been playing for around 40 minutes yesterday since I hadn't that much time, but it was enough to remember what an annoyance the Warehouse Combo was
Anyway, I think I should be done at the end of the weekend. I'm sure it ain't easy to get the max score for it, but comparing to 100.000+ in BOM or 43k+ in LS it shouldn't be such a torture.
I'm planning on playing a rather relaxing level like LOTLD or CF afterwards, before aiming for a score over 100k in BOM.

So folks, anybody playing R3 currently besides of me, or have you already passed the magic 900k mark and just not posting here? :P

Congratulations on your score in SBTC. It's bloody difficult to get more than 111k in this level.

HH is a great level to play, but you're right about the Warehouse Combo. It's a handful. Good luck with it.

I'm still playing R3, but it's a very slow process. College has started and I will probably only be able to squeeze in an hour of playing here and there. I'm quite motivated to finish FC though. I'm trying out something quite new and I hope it will work out.

I'll be thrilled if I can pass 860k points one day. I don't know why you think 900k is within reach

Thanks for the congratulations MandM
It sucks that you'll have less time playing in the future, but I agree that school/college is more important.

Well, in the meantime I have finished Part 1 faster than expected with a score of slightly over 26.000. I think it's a good foundation for the further parts, particularly since I'm avoiding the Heckler Combo in Part 2. I've had some go's and I plan on settling for 76k, but the best I've managed so far was to complete the first two combos.

I was rather joking than being dead serious about the last part, but who knows what happens in the future. We were stupid enough to not find out in such a long period of time that you can pass the 100k mark by collecting a green gem with a powerup :fou:

That's a decent score after part 1. Did you get the Matuvu and the green gem in the same combo?

Part 2 has three very healthy combos to overcome. But after that, the rest is quite relaxing.

Yeah, I guess you never know what happens. Something new may indeed be found in the game. One should never stop looking.

Xenon: Good to see your score back in HoF.

Yes, I did both the Matuvu and Green Gem in one combo.
And I can hereby officially declare I achieved 109.009 in HH :D
I'm really addicted right now. There doesn't seem to be much competition at the moment, but it also has it's advantages. I feel no pressure and can improve while the others are sleeping :P
Part 2 was quite challenging, but then again not very hard, since I didn't combo the Heckler. I finished it with 76k+ and Part 3 went quite smoothly. I had one miscalculation, but it was fun to play and Part 4 was murder of course :mryellow:
I decided to let the plan playing relaxing levels slide and to switch to BOM straight away. My suckish score there has bugged me for too long now. I'm aware it'll take me several days, maybe even 2 weeks, but it's definitely worth it.

You aren't the only one playing at the moment. I'm in the process of improving my TLOTLD score (which will eventually give me 1500 additional points), but I'm struggling with the Hoodstormer in the Hoodlum combo. Under normal circumstances I would be able to conclude this part easily, but given I have been absent from playing for several months and the fact I can no longer dedicate such a large amount of time to playing, I'm not the player I once was.

I suspect I'll be calling it a day with R3 after I finish TLOTLD unless there's some stiff competition from rival players. At this point I would have surpassed the 850k milestone I was always aiming for.

By the way mostwanted, I still have a higher HH score than you :P Your level scores are impressive though. It's quite an ironical turnout given that you probably played the Warehouse combo in part 1 and the various Hoodlum combos in part 2 far better than me.

That's not how it works. You get a code at the end of the game. Write it down then put the code here:

I tested 2 days ago whether running the game as an administrator lets the slapdash appear, but it didn't work for me. I'm kinda glad nonetheless, because there aren't any more differences between the different platforms, which create a unsatisfiying situation for the gameplay.

I made quite some progress in BOM, I'm up to part 5 already with 65,2k points and I already managed the double glitch and twice the single glitch. I somehow got a feeling now how to hit Razoff in order to produce a glitch, which I'm quite happy about. I've played Part 5 19 times now and got 3 glitches, that's quite a good quote :)
I could have finished already with 88k, but I want to play a relaxing part 6, so I'm aiming for 4 hits. If I don't get lucky enough the next time, I'll be happy with 3.

Question: Has anybody achieved the mysterious 101.199 yet? I'll investigate in this anyway, but it would be interesting to know regardless of that :)

I have tried for 101.199 points a few times, but with no luck obviously. I think it's just as hard as hitting Razoff four times in part 5. I look forward to hearing about your attempt at this score.

By the way, I suddenly have an increase in the number of Tings. Does anyone know where that came from?

I have a question; when I start trying to improve my score (soon), are the instructions on the first page of this topic still valid, or have any techniques improved since then?
