I changed my mind rather quickly.Ephriokko said:Oh, changed your mind there didja? =P Well, whatever works! XD
There's always a chance.Ephriokko said:I'm guessing that to be the case.![]()
Still, though... damn. No Mac! D;
First of all, I'm not one of those persons who complains about tiny details and that doesn't want you to try new things with Rayman.I think Rayman has enough plotholes that you won't notice it.I'm still keeping my idea.
Good point. But remember, this game is still in a very early stage and Rayfan hasn't actually worked on a cinematic for this moment. So it can be easily adapted ( if wanted ).I'm too paranoid about killing Ray9876's motivation to keep working on this, plus I'm too lazy...![]()

But you're going to introduce such a major plothole with your game that it might break the continuity of the entire series.
No really, there are so many reasons why from Rayman Origins until Rayman 3 the character can't have changed. The most prominent being the one I pointed out earlier. Then comes the question: how come he has the same name throughout the entire series? Then explain why we never hear anything about Raymans mother in the rest of the series? Then explain why we never hear anything about the father, the original Rayman, and the rest of the series, because Globox is there and has known that father quite well, it appears? And the list goes on...
If you're going to introduce a game in between series, you must be careful to not break the storylines of the adjoining games.
Of course, It's your game, do whatever you like. Just telling you about my concern.
Well, as long as this will stay a fangame I will not mind it. I will even support it actually! It's a very nice way for Rayman to have a child and to come to the end of his life.I think you are taking it a bit too serious. It`s a fangame after all, and I like it when fangames do stuff that you would never see in official games.![]()

But according to Rayfan's plans, this game might be released into an official part of the series and that's why I can't help but feel that the story of this game should end differently and in a way where Rayman will live on. Because I'm afraid that this game might knock the continuity of the series so hard that it will break down.
We'll have to see. I never saw any fangame that got published, but I never saw any fangame that failed to got published as well.But WHUT. As an official game?
Sorry RayFan, I don`t want to sound rude, but that plan is totally unrealistic and it`s extremely unlikely that that will ever happen. Ubi Soft has it`s own plans for the games and they would pretty much never sell a game that was made by fans, especially not if there are new characters in it.
But still, as fangame this game would be totally incredible.![]()
That sounds just like you never saw a fangame :/Joshua822 said:But WHUT. As an official game?

You mustn't have read it properly. He has seen fangames, but he has never seen one that tried to get published.Tenderz said:That sounds just like you never saw a fangame :/Joshua822 said:But WHUT. As an official game?

That was indeed roughly what I meant.You mustn't have read it properly. He has seen fangames, but he has never seen one that tried to get published.
