@PowerPatrick: if I'm correct, that isn't the model Rayfan will be using.

Actually, you can never be sure about that. I'm also not saying they will sue Rayfan, and they probably won't if this remains a non-commercial game or i Ubisoft publishes the game, but else they can very well sue Rayfan.

Remember, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you ;)

We're actually having a useful conversation. If you want to get this game published you'd better plan it beter then "I'll just ask Ubisoft to publish it and if they say no, I will do... something to convice them to say yes".

But hey, It's your game, and your dream. If you don't want to here all the things that you should consider and take into account with publishing a game and just go "no-no" over all that is a valid concern, and nut just praise, then you're dream is doomed to be shattered from the start.
 
Not necessarily. And I don't think this is the kind of thing I should even care about when I'm years from finishing. Just let the next few years play out. It's not like it matters if I think about this now, or two years from now, I can't exactly do much about it.
 
[Big update]
Rayfan has let me play rayman 1.5 on her pc. By "play" I mean add him on teamviewer which allows you to view other peoples computer monitors. I have captured and got a few gameplay! This wonderful game has such lovely levels. And I am looking forward to it... oh YES

Note: DO NOT ANNOY RAYFAN! She simply does not want anyone to bother her. i just tested the game out for a freerun becuase me and her are good friends. Great job rayfan you do us proud! :up:

Edit: Also sorry for lag.... teamviewers fault :grrr:
 
Actually, there is so much lag and color problems that i can't even see if he's playing.
And at the end, some wierd fist's show up, like it's a boxing game. :confus:
But still, the game itself looks great. :)

Ignore those fists entirely. :P That's just basic default Crysis things.

I think this video doesn't do the game justice. The previously posted screenshots and videos gave a much better impression.
