it only disappears once Rayman frees Carmen

Carmen can also be seen in the background of the same location shortly before the tentacle disappears.
This can't be right... Carmen can only be seen in that area after Rayman has set her free from the trap in Whale Bay.
I know. I don’t see how this contradicts what I said.

1: The tentacle blocks Rayman’s path to the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire, forcing him to go the the Whale Bay first.
2: Rayman frees Carmen the Whale from the Whale Bay.
3: Rayman travels to the entrance to the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire. Carmen the Whale appears. The tentacle disappears. Rayman enters the Sanctuary.

If the tentacle disappears when Rayman frees Carmen, Carmen cannot be seen in the same location at the same time.

I'm assuming you made a typing error and meant to say "after", but instead said "before", in the second statement I quoted.

If I recall correctly, Carmen appears outside the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire the first time Rayman goes there after freeing her. She approaches the tentacle, which then disappears permanently. Carmen can then be seen any subsequent time Rayman returns to the area.

If I have made any mistakes, they are memorial, not typographic. I assume that ‘memorial’ can be used to mean ‘of or related to memory’ in this context.

It happens that the tentacle only disappears after Carmen being rescued yes. There's no doubt on that.

Yippie! A REAL Rayman game. :D I hate those raving rabbids games. :pascontent:
Me too. For a not Rayman styled game, it's not too bad, but for Rayman game, it's the worst, according me.
Your right. For a not rayman styled game its great. But for a rayman game its bad, no its f*****g horrible. :pascontent:

For the most part I tend to view the Rabbids games as minigame-fests where Rayman happens to be a guest star(when he's included at all). Considering that he's one of the titular characters, it's pretty sad that I get this impression even from the first one...

*still waiting for more news on Origins*

The only thing I see in this is they are guaranteeing no more information slips in order to force curious players to buy and making more profit.

I still hope they do a PC release at some point, just like how arcade games have appeared on Steam before. Because I'm not going to be able to play this otherwise.

I do doubt in getting someday a PS3, especially on Xmas.

That's why I'm praying to be released for PC, otherwise UbiART is forcing me to get a PS3 somehow...

They are certainly pushing the boundaries of patience here. My guess is that they got set back a little by... something? :) Or maybe Ancel has had a case of the Miyamotos:

I doubt that'd be a particularly bad thing in general, but so close to the apparent release? BIG no-no.

I wonder if the people in the Rayman Origins trailer are the actual developers. I think the girl who looks about eighteen or so probably is, since we see her actually drawing some Betilla artwork, but I’m not too sure about the little child. Perhaps she’s there just for show.
