Re: Rayman Betas
I thought you needed at least 90% of the Yellow Lums. There are only 800 Yellow Lums in the PS1 version.
Re: Rayman Betas
Oh right, I already remember that.spiraldoor wrote:I thought you needed at least 90% of the Yellow Lums.
Nevermind.

Re: Rayman Betas
What emulator would you advise me for PS1?
Re: Rayman Betas
ePSXe 1.7.0.Rayray1994 wrote:What emulator would you advise me for PS1?
You just need to find the BIOSs, the ROMS of Rayman that you want to play, the emulator itself and boom: ready to play.

Re: Rayman Betas
That’s not the only reason. There are plenty of interesting additions and changes in R2 PS1. Different versions of Rayman games are always fun to play.Rayray1994 wrote:All that just to play the bonus level in the end of the game

Re: Rayman Betas
Ah, that's Rayman Evolution on PS1?
Re: Rayman Betas
What?Rayray1994 wrote:Ah, that's Rayman Evolution on PS1?
Some interesting changes that you can find in the version are for example, the guardians speeches and the structure of the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire.
If you want, you can check my videos of the Playstation 1 version of Rayman 2 to see the differences.

‘R2 PS1’ = the Sony PlayStation version of Rayman 2: The Great EscapeRayray1994 wrote:Ah, that's Rayman Evolution on PS1?
Rayman Revolution is the name of the PS2 version of Rayman 2: The Great Escape (‘RR’, or ‘R2 PS2’ if you prefer).

Re: Rayman Betas
I mentioned previously that I downloaded a saved game with all Lums, and when I beat Razorbeard (using savestates, as Rayman kept dying), I was sent back to the Hall of Doors.Haruka wrote:To access that level you need to catch at least 700 Lums in the R2 for PS1, beating Razorbeard and watching the credits until the end. You'll access the beta level immediately.L.M. Murphy wrote:Still requesting a Rayman 2 2D save state.
Re: Rayman Betas
Then something wrong is happening because it MUST take you if you have at least 720 Lums with you.L.M. Murphy wrote: I mentioned previously that I downloaded a saved game with all Lums, and when I beat Razorbeard (using savestates, as Rayman kept dying), I was sent back to the Hall of Doors.

Here’s the prototype, the demo and the full game for good measure. Five and a half megabytes in total. Keep circulating the tapes!
