Rare Rayman Pictures

It’s a cancelled minigame exclusive to the GameCube version of Rayman 3. We don’t know how we’re supposed to unlock it, so none of us have seen it with our own eyes before. We’ve known about it for ages now but I can’t thank you enough for finally locating an actual screenshot.

Would you mind linking to the page where you found it? It might have instructions on how to unlock the minigame.

yeah i will found the site i don´t remember but its easy for me.

hey guys i found a wierd pic rayman and murfy talk inside the fairy council wierd its on the same page so i look for the page there i found the first pic.

That Murfy one just looks like an ordinary screenshot to me.

I've got the whole week off work this week so I'll have a crack at going through my magazine box for any Rayman reviews that are in one piece.

the murfy thing is like then first murfy talks to you then rayman ahve no hands or then rayman gets the first can maybe a demo version then he talks with him some other things things they annoying from murfy XD

yeah XD my boyfriend think it was fake but i think that too XD
 
Actually it isn't fake.

We are still looking for a solution to unlock that mini-game.

I’m setting the 2D Nightmare screenshot as my signature. That way, everyone who visits the forums in the next couple of weeks will be sure to see it.
 
What would be better was someone finding how to unlock it.

I really need to see if I get Rayman 3 for GBA someday.

It's not like we found a way to unlock it, it's just a single screenshot. That doesn't seem important in any way to me.
 
The screenshot alone is still very significant. It’s our first-ever glimpse of the minigame. And just look at that 3D R1 background! And the rainbow paint pot!
 
That is pure awesomeness. I remember that screenshot from the old RZ.
Why is everyone using the pic with the red circle around the gem though? At least this one's clean: http://membres.multimania.fr/rayfan222/hpbimg/minigames_2.jpg
There are no instructions on how to get to the minigame on the site though, and I tried using reverse image search engines but there were no results, so there aren't any other sites with the image that might have some more information ( at least no sites that the engines can find, because they're still pretty primitive ).
 
Hey Drol I'm not sure if you or anyone else has tried but could it be possible to see the minigame by messing around with the data of an iso file? I ask you since you're one of the top guys around here in terms of file extracting and whatnot.
 
This might look odd but I've been thinking: if 2D Madness is unlocked by plugging R3 for GBA on the GC game, what about plugging Rayman Advance instead of R3 cartridge?

i make the red ring because i think first it was fake but its not fake so i give the link and you can see the pic without the red ring
