Rayman Junior – crazy French version

I'm wondering if 'French with Rayman' is the same thing but with the cousin being French or if it was based on Rayman's Maths & English instead. I can't find much information on this game online, I guess It's up to be to buy a copy then :P. I'm already planning on getting one relatively unknown Rayman 1 spinoff game at the next oppotunity..

I can confirm it's the same, except for the world map which is different if I remember correctly. ;)

Thanks for that information. Do you know if the cousin is still called Andrew ( :lol:) or if he goes under a different name? I assume the world map is altered to feature French landmarks such as The Eiffel Tower.

I've decided to keep up with my playthrough of this game and have now uploaded Level 2 - The Street (set in Bandland):


The level afterwards is set in The Caves of Skops for some reason and is a MASSIVE difficulty jump :shock:
 
Just watched the intro and rofl his accent, couldn't help but think of Mary Poppins there.
 
Now that I've seen Rayman in a bowler hat I instantly remembered this drawing my sister did like 10 years ago.

It implies that the valley is on Earth, which really is too much for me.
 
I think Ubisoft did that in order to make the children "identify better" with the game.
 
Uber-bump! Sorry, I am aware that this thread is nearly a year old now, and I do also appreciate that bumping is annoying. However, I do actually have something constructive (rather then bumping an ancient thread just to put 'I liek raymnd' - which is always pointless and annoying).

Yes that's right, I am continuing my English with Rayman playthrough, so that you may continue to enjoy the antics of Andrew and the antics of me dying repeatedly. The only reason I stopped was due to issues with the video editing software I was using. Now that that is solved, I have uploaded the two levels after The Street which I recorded in January. Just tonight I have done a batch recording of 4 levels, leaving a very small (approx 6-7) levels left before the game is complete, and we can see how the story ends!

Here is 'The School' and 'At Home'. Brace yourself for deaths, lack of knowledge of the Spanish language, insanity montages and more OTT musings from Andrew:


 
The gameplay in those videos is pretty funny, but some of the annotations are simply hilarious! XD
 
Have actually completed the game a few days ago. It's just the case of editing, uploading and annotating all the videos now. Here are the ones I've done throughout the last few weeks which I haven't posted on here yet, as well as the new part from today







Still looking out for a copy of French with Rayman, but haven't found one thus far. Nothing online that I've seen. This is really annoying, because it was as common as dirt in Staples when I was little :fou2:!
 
A Learning French with Rayman, with English support would be the perfect title for me. :P

...unless you actually want to learn French, then it's probably a little useless ;)

Currently uploading the next part - should be up for public viewing after I've annotated it.
 
I love these videos! XD The annotations are great, especially the one about Betilla's blank expression.
 
Just played 'At the School' again to get some screenshots for Raywiki and didn't die once :shock:! It's not like I could remember where all the traps were either. I guess my Rayman skills have improved heavily over the year!

Also, epic signature, THEdragon ;)

Wow! I guess maybe Rayman won't go insane again! Poor Betilla will have trouble recovering from her labotomy though... XD

And thanks! I need to put the full version of my signature pic in my art thread some time.
