Ok let me explain. Obviously if there was a hidden area, the door would retract.
In the dotk wireframe there is nothing behind that door.
In tls to access the hidden ly statue there is an animation of a door retracting.
When I got there I didn't even need to be in the same area to see the secret, hence there is nothing in DOTK.
