Initially I was just planning to drop by, but maybe I'll show up more often. I do have the time, so it's just a matter of priorities.

I'm slightly interested in getting Rayman: Origins when it comes out so I'll probably have some opinions worth expressing and something interesting to say then. Right as of now I haven't really touched Rayman in a while. If I remember right most of the discussions here are about Rayman in one way or another anyway, even in the Off Topic section.

I honestly can't believe these forums are still very active. Impressive.

Matyuv, you're still around :o
Been a while, I know we had some disagreements back in the days. Looking back at some of my older posts and stuff I know what lots of people had to deal with and I can totally see why people got annoyed. I looked at some of them just now and some of them actually made me laugh out loud because of the nonsense, to top it off I spotted a few hilarious replies to a couple of my old posts aswell.

What's been going on here lately, who's still around and how much of the community still plays Rayman and talks about it regularly on the forums? After all these years with the lack of big releases, I would assume there isn't much left to talk about.

Tbh I absolutely don't care about Rayman. But I'm interested in RO anyway. As you can see, the mods team has changed a lot and I've seized the highest power. But well the English community still talks a lot about Rayman.

An admin that doesn’t even care about Rayman? What a terrible state of affairs in which we now find ourselves. This problem must be rectified immediately.

I did find some tracks off Rayman 1 and Rayman 2 a while ago on YouTube that brought back a huge amount of memories, leading to one of my friends playing and completing Rayman 2 all over again, I remember it being great fun back then but I saw him play the last level and I didn't really the urge to play it. I don't even think Rayman 1 could draw me back into the series, and from what I've seen from Origins it seems a bit, ehm.. weird. That doesn't necesarilly mean bad though, don't get me wrong. I'll most likely try it out and maybe I'll revisit PC and discuss it a little. The series have the potential to amaze me once again.

The fact that the moderator team has changed alot isn't exactly a surprise, I haven't really been around much for the past 5 years so I barely know any of them now. I used to be a part of it, but now looking back at what I did. I don't feel I deserved it, even with the merge and everything that happened back then. I'm sure everyone now are doing a much better job.

You can check out the PC documentary topic to see how things've been going since you left. It hasn't been updated for ages, but you've been away for much longer. :P

Seems like alot has been going on. Even the addition of an Italian forum. I never saw that coming, what really interested me though was the stuff that happened way back, when I was around. I was sure I originally left before May 2005, strange. I probably came back a million times, although I'm not sure exactly when I announced that I didn't want to be a Moderator anymore.

Haha, oh well. These forums are still doing great, I guess I should check back more often and see if I find anything that it would make sense for me to reply to. Unlike the Gigaman these forums probably know, the recent forums I have been on I haven't posted that much, and most of the posts I post are 20 times longer than what I used to post on here.

I have plenty of experience at being a noob, but I like to believe that my amount of experience at that subject is no longer growing. Technically though, I am in a way a new member, since last time I was active was back in 2005, with a few posts in 2007. I wasn't really that active in 2005 either though, most of my posts are from before June 2004, and I have changed a whole lot since then.

Welcome back Gigaman, good to see you passing by! You can imagine my surprise when I saw your username on the forum index. So, how are things going for you? What are you studying now? Also, no need to apologise for your behaviour back in 2004, we've all grown up since then, and so did PC :)

I kinda imagined it would be a surprise, I was actually looking around for about 10 minutes before I decided to actually log in and leave a message, didn't think it would be such a good idea at first. Life is good, enjoying every bit of it. Currently "studying" what people would categorize as boring, simply because I want to have as many opportunities in the future as possible. So that means Maths, Physics etc.. I don't really have much of a problem with it either, and I don't have to do presentations once or twice a week (which in my opinion, is worse than the tougher subjects). I still have about 15 months left untill I'm done with our "secondary school", which means that the real studying won't happen untill then. I'm most likely not gonna start up immidiately though, as the military here is mandatory (unless I fail the little "audition" they have to see if you're good enough, which honestly wouldn't surprise me alot in my current condition. Quit sports about 3 years ago, and unfortunately I've been too lazy to go to the gym often enough after that). Even if I fail, I might take a year off school, it's taking up alot of time and I need to get some experiences before deciding what to do and move on to studying.

Anyway, enough of that. I'm glad the stuff that what happened in '03 and '04 doesn't matter anymore. I still remember a couple of stupid posts I had that made no sense at all. I even saw a few here when I looked at some of my old posts, that I couldn't even understand when I translated it word by word to see if I could find the sentance I originally intended to translate.

How has thins been going for you and PC? I saw the wiki that has been created and I must say I'm impressed at how much information has been gathered and the determination. I imagine it took quite some time to write all that. I probably won't be around posting alot though, but I might check back every now and then. Possibly posting abit more during my playthrough of Rayman: Origins. I guess all that remains is to say good luck and keep up the good work with the site.

Hello, I am NadCu42 and I'm new to this forum. Actually I just need help about running Rayman 3 on Windows 7 32-bit, but I wanted to introduce myself anyway. I finished Rayman 1 and 2 many times when I was younger, and 2 days ago finished R1 again. I don't really like Rayman 3 and can't even look on RRR, but I decided to try and play R3 again, because a few years ago I played it about to the middle but stopped, I think because a technical problem. I want to finish R3 in order to have a complete opinion about it, not just to hate it because it's newer and more modern-minded. Also, I think I will try RRR for the same reason. I don't look forward to Rayman Origins because from what I've seen in the trailer, it sucks - it's too cynical, modern, has absolutely no relation to the original Rayman game and looks like it was made by Disney Channel.

Hope to be in this forum for some time! Nice to join.
