Just curios how many cutscenes have you created I want to here more of the plot
Not a lot, maybe about five, but I'll be working on more.

At the moment I'm actually working on a Rayman 1.5 Symphony for the credits music. I've written everything, I just have to spend a long time recording it due to the elaborateness. I'm in a really good mood right now.

This game, as many know, looks incredibly awesome in many ways. I saw the trailers and heard some of the music, and everything seems fantastic, Good luck Rayfan, i'd subscribe to you're youtube account, but I can't.

Thanks. :)

Also F***ING AMAZING NEWS! I've gained access to CryEngine3 now, and I'll post some screenshots as soon as I get everything ported and working properly again.

EDIT:

Oh bloody hell, they decided to change the name of the "Game" folder to "GameCrysis2." That means I now have rename every single custom model, texture, and material directory to correspond with the new name. This might take a while.

:D

I can sorta see why they'd do that, but it must be frustrating.

Hope you can manage to do it soon, or this might take a while.

P.S. I hear that the Cryengine 3 has lower system requirements. Is that true, or have I listen to yet another false rumor?

You're partly right. It doesn't exactly have lower system requirements, but it does run much better on those requirements that run "okay," and it runs much better on those that run good already.

About these five cutscenes I would Love to see them. You should put the cutscenes on youtube

By the way how long until the next part of the soundtrack is out.

Yes please do not double post in future - SW

Oh f**k you it was just a compliment. Man I still can't get over the fact that you're a girl.

EDIT: I take it back. It's still weird though. None of the girls I know don't know what Rayman is.

The next part of the soundtrack... I don't know really. I've had on average about four hours of homework per day, giving me next to nil free time. :P Although I must admit it is good, it teaches you not to procrastinate. So far I've done two more tracks since part 12 (which I know isn't much at all), and I hope to, within the next couple of weeks, have part thirteen up.

Some of the cutscenes... they still need to use some renovations. I don't feel ready to upload them yet.

Oh also, just as a forum tip, don't double post, edit your post instead (unless it's really important). The moderators and admins will be all over you about it. :oops2:

Alright I've 90% successfully ported over Music Mountain to the new engine. I'm quite happy with the results! The only things that aren't proper yet from the transfer are the huge texts on the mountain, guitar, and some other things saying "Replace me" (which means there's some overlaying texture that hasn't been chosen for CryEngine3), and the volumetric 3D fluffy clouds. For some reason those clouds just won't work, but I'll try to get them to work because they add to the level a lot.

The whole world feels more colourful, smoother, and just plain "higher quality." I'll be updating you all with a video flythrough of it shortly. :)

Alright I'll show a comparison picture or two because the new cutscene camera tool's changed, and I'll need time to figure it out before I can make a video. Here's three comparisons. The first in each couple is CryEngine2, the second is CryEngine3:

Open them side-by-side in tabs if you want to really distinguish them. Don't mind the absence of the clouds in CE3, that'll be taken care of eventually. Some things to note in the differences: Look at the shading on the trumpet, especially the brass towers on the left of the first comparison. I think the second picture holds the biggest difference. The shading is very dynamic in CE3, and you can even see the red ropes on the bongo casting a glow on the clouds beside it, whereas in CE2 the shading is very monotonous in comparison.

WOW!!!! That is simply put, stunning!!! Please release a demo of this sometime once it's stable enough, so that we can test out your game's epicness! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Great works ! :) Sorry I didn't be aware about your recent changes in your games. Your latest songs are just awesome !
