Rayman Remixes and Mixes (last updated: March 21, 2014)

Ah yes the Engie Council. :P
It's good to know there are still Rayman fans out there.

By the way, I have a little announcement to make. I will soon be working on some Rayman tribute tracks again.
They probably won't be remixes but remakes instead or something like that.
I guess you could call it Raymanian music. :3

Kind regards. ;)

I'm having a bunch of issues getting my instrument libraries to function normally.
Thank my new 64-bit OS for that.

I hope to mix some stuff soon.

ok... here's a mix I made a few years ago with samples from Rayman 2, combining "The Woods of Light", "The Sanctuary of Water & Ice" and "The Canopy".
Doesn't sound very good, but here's the [ download ] link anyway...

Not bad, but it sounds more like a Disco music. :D

This is a great remix! :D

Hey, that's kind of cool! And well-made too! Good job. :)
Glad you were able to do something with the R3 parts I uploaded for you too ^^

Yeah, the parts are very useful. :P I haven't really been inspired that much yet for the remixes. Hope to do more soon.

Great job ripping the Rayman Legends soundtrack by the way. Lovely game.

I'm just gonna leave a post here so I can follow this thread without searching for it because I'm lazy.

Here's a quickie. This wasn't really a remix but more of a little silly thing.
Since I've got all the Rayman 3 music loops in WAV format thanks to Droolie a while ago.

It also includes one of the drum loops from Rayman 2 which I managed to track down. Including a bunch of loops from Rayman 3 and some other games. There is this sample library named Distorted Reality which contains a lot of famous samples that were and in some cases still are used by a lot of composers for tv shows, movies and games.

PS: Bzzit (scrapped remake)

Both songs are quite cool, too bad you scrapped the Bzzit one, it captured the original atmosphere pretty well.
I had no idea there were drum loops in Distorted Reality - thanks for mentioning that, I'll check it out. I've been thinking about getting Spectrasonics Omnisphere, and seeing as Distorted Reality is a plugin for that, I think I'll get it soon. ^^
Most of the R2 drum loops are in Liquid Grooves though (looks like Eric Chevalier really loved Spectrasonics), and Burning Grooves for Rayman M. If you have Spectrasonics Stylus RMX, you can get them as plugins for that too. :)

The Bzzit track was mainly scrapped because I made it a while back when I was rather busy. Also I couldn't figure out some of the track's elements and didn't want to spend too much time on it.

Hope I can get my hands on Burning Grooves and Liquid Grooves though. XD Just for the sake of it.
Distorted Reality contains a lot of popular loops including stuff used in the SimCity 4 soundtrack and a loop that you hear in the How It's Made TV show.

Work in progress "re-make" of The Lava Tower.

Here's a very early preview. It is a loop so make sure you play it on repeat if you don't want to be caught off-guard by it cutting out all of a sudden.
The Lava Tower Redux (early preview)

Also a message to Drolpiraat and those interested. Most of the orchestral cues from Rayman 3 come from a library named Orchestral Colours. It's a shame really because they're very generic samples but hey.. at least we know where they came from now! XD
