I think that inovating the controls would reward the lack of graphical quality, making the version equilibrated.

I'll get uber excited if it goes for the PC, they are more than capable of running 1080p in 60FPS if they are already prepared for tasks that implict that. (Like mine)

I'd actually be surprised if Origins on the Wii was much of a step down from the HD versions. The resolution will obviously be lower, but it doesn't strike me as a game they'd have to modify a lot. It's still a 2D platformer at the end of the day, albeit a very pretty one.
 
As concerns the Italian article, it mentions several environments from the demo: a grassy level, a place with torrential rain, deadly caves, and Aztec ruins with palm trees and moving doors following the music. Later, an Angry Birds-like level is mentioned, which shows us that once again this Rayman game will be very rich in terms of gameplay.

EDIT -> Just noticed. In this version of the cover art, the second teensie's clothes were changed to the new, black outfit. So... guess it's not an optional outfit but just a newer version?

Aaaaanyway this is very good news, I need more games relevant to my interests for my 3DS. Just hope it won't be done by Casablanca.

I've got PS move. It's not bad thing. Calibration take 15 seconds, and you have to make it only once time peer game. It's very responsive (more then Wii controler) and.. thats it. There aren't so much games for that, but those who are got mutch beter graphics then Wii ones. "The shoot" for example. Its a nice shooter with cool climat and awesome gameplay. As you wrote Kinect have no buttons, so it's authomaticly disqualifies him witch shooters, racers, and some sport games who needs to take something to hands, like ping-pong. Without something hard in hands, it's like playing an invisible guitar.

They’ve already been outed by the shots of concept artwork on the walls of La Villa. The presence of subtler series trademarks such as nenuphars, lianas and popolopoï is also a certainty.

I doubt that the addition of motion controls to the Wii version will be sufficient compensation for its significantly inferior visuals.

Wii Motion Plus takes less time to calibrate.

I doubt that the addition of motion controls to the Wii version will be sufficient compensation for its significantly inferior visuals.

Significantly? We'll see that, it cannot be that bad. Like if it was going to get a SNES graphism or something. Although I would prefer to fully appreciate the graphical quality in its maximum in the case of the PC version getting confirmed, if not I'll be able at least to play the game in the Wii version. Better than nothing for people who don't either own an Xbox 360 and a PlayStation 3. And besides, if the gaming catalogue of the PS3 was more interesting to me and in the time I was about to get a Blu-Ray reader the PS3 was cheaper, I would have considered to buy one. I haven't any fear to say that I'm more a Nintendo supporter than Sony. PlayStation 1 and 2 have my respect, now PSP and PS3 don't.

It is a true fact. I wonder if the integrated version of the Wii Motion Plus into the new Wii Remotes keep that calibration time or if there is a difference.

But truth to be said, Sony was a jerk to have insulted Nintendo in the earlier times of Wii, and years later happening what we all know about PlayStation Move. Full stop.

This list is actually an argument in disfavour of this assumption, as the fact that Globox is listed and present on the picture implies that the glute is one of the remaining characters in the said image. But well, it can always be a mistake on Ubi's part.

I remember spotting a couple of other mistakes in that list, so it can’t really be taken as definitive; the only reason I brought it up was that you asked where we got the name ‘glute’.

There’s no way the Wii version of Rayman Origins will approach the graphical quality of the other versions. It would be a shame to have to experience the game on that platform, considering all the effort that the developers have clearly put into making it look great. I don’t see how ‘better controls’ could make the Wii version equal to the others, and I prefer regular controllers to the Wii remote anyway.

The PlayStation Move is more precise and responsive than the Wii remote and is generally a superior device. While I wouldn’t go so far as to label a large multinational corporation a ‘jerk’ because one of its employees said something demeaning about a rival corporation’s product, I do wish that Sony had stayed the course and kept using their regular controller for all of their games; well, at least they didn’t descend to the ridiculous depths of not using a controller at all.

I'm not either saying that the difference of the graphism quality will be unoticible, I am also aware of the weaker graphical capacities of the Wii. It wasn't also Nintendo's goal to have splenderous high-definition graphics when it was designed: it was to reach the games and the fun to everybody no matter the age, the gender and the gaming experience level of the players. But that's your opinion, for me I won't mind if the controls are better in the Wii in order to reward the graphical quality loss. I also said in my previous post that of course, I would even enjoy more playing RO in its maximum graphical quality.

I believe you are mentioning Microsoft Xbox 360's Kinect in the end. I find Kinect interesting but still when I think in people playing in it without any controlers and doing gests in middle air, kinda feels sad. I wouldn't mind to try it out one day, just to formulate a better opinion. And yes, it is also a true fact that PlayStation Move has got better precision and response than Wii Remote with Wii Motion Plus acessory, I've read about that before, although I would also like to try it out to (with the same purposes as Kinect) clear out that precision level. I believe it is because there's a camera inside those balls in the remote's tip. Still I would also have prefered that Sony keeped using the traditional DualShock controller.
