The E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) is an event that happens every year in the begining of June in Los Angeles. In here, the biggest companies of video games, such as Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony and Ubisoft among others show their projects for incoming months and year. :)

I'll also watch Nintendo's E3 in Tuesday afternoon. I want to know what's that Project Café afterall.

Spiegel Online did an interesting interview to Michel Ancel about his opinion about the nowadays games:

Apparently the iPad version will be definitelly putted away.

That's good, that never seemed like an good idea!

When they said that the iPad version was going to be considerated, I was thinking in how could the game work well in a platform without buttons. I don't think it would work well, especially now that we know more about the game.

Is also anyone here in the forum that owns an iPad?

Like they did with R2TGE for the iPhone/iPod Touch.

I don't find a good idea having RO for the iPad, I'm just remembering how bad worked the control system of R2 in the iPod Touch I've tried in April.

*Sorry for double-posting*

I've just noticed one thing in the boxart.

Do I see a Zombie Chicken, more or less side to Rayman's shoe?

It indeed is a Zombie Chicken, but sorry, Fat_Mario noticed it faster :(
BUT!
He didn't post it here, so congrats to Haruka for the finding without any clues

I'm more interested with that weird bird/chicken thing over the Hunter. I mean, it's weird and I don't recall tings like that in previous games, or the screens.

Question, what time is the Ubisoft E3 conference in Arizonan time. I'm asking because I live in Arizona and I want to know what time I should tune in to catch the conference.

Hey, I just found this; http://www.play3-live.com/news-ps3-rayman-origins-confirme-sa-sortie-en-images-31644.html (it is in french, sorry.)
In the begining, they say that the released date of Rayman Origins (in PS3) is for this summer and they say that it was confirmed by Ubisoft.
Looks like an awkward translation of the English press release. Hairlycopter anyone? :P Also, it mentions three bosses: the gigantic pink monster, a possessed soul and a mountain golem.

The conference is tonight!

I think I'm going to watch via YouTube afterall.

I'll plug my laptop in my living room's television (big) with HDMI connection to watch the conference so I think I'll only talk about the revealed stuff after the conference finishing.

My predictions:

- Platforms confirmations
- New E3 Trailer of Rayman Origins
- Gameplay footage in video (Demo)

By the way, the French article CoCoXo posted here mentions a release date this summer, while I thought it was announced for the end of the year. Am I mistaken? In any case, we'll probably get a date tonight.

Summer?

Amazon said that at least for the American continent it would be in 14th November. I don't think the European continent would get the game months earlier.

I want to know if they talk Raymanian or just normal English. I hope we'll find an awnser to this question later this night. :)
