Stacey - that would be awesome! :D

Yeah, there are only 13 DSiWare roms ripped so far and it doesn't seem like ripping them is top priority.

No Rayman DSi here, and all of them are nuked [XXXX] :|

Just found my audio jack and tested it with a piece of music from Rabbids 3D:

I'm gonna rip the soundtrack of this game for myself anyway in case it's not desired on Raytunes, but I'd like to know if this is a good enough rip - audio was set to surround sound and it sounded alright to me, full volume was a bit too loud so I had to turn it down a bit. If all's well then I'll be able to do Rayman DSi when I get it, provided that will have sound and music volumes too.

Hey can you quickly check if there are any sound options in Rayman DSi please? Like, any way to turn down the sfx volume etc? It should do since most if not all versions of the game have this...

Believe it or not, it is impossible to edit the sound. :mefiant:

Well that sucks, best bet is to just leave him and walk a little then.

Edit: recorded a few more Rabbids 3D tracks, had to start a new game to avoid some dumb pauses you get when you re-enter a level, which aren't easy to edit out. :?

The DSi version isn't the best version of the game. :tssk:

Keep up the good work! I have a perfect widescreen image waiting for uploading it to YouTube. :D

That's quite a good recording Stacey, thanks! I'll put it on RayTunes when you finish it :D

Very nice Stacey! :D

That makes me thinking in one great idea: what about you attempting to do the same thing but when Rayman Origins comes out of the 3DS?! :P You might be our salvation if the ripping gets very difficult in the home-consoles versions.

Erm, I suppose[\i] it would be easier to rip it outta Wii version. Still, not sure.

Are you sure?

Droolie has been struggling to get the soundtrack of RRR2 and TV Party.

Perhaps someone is willing to rip the music from the DS games? Rayman Raving Rabbids DS has a few cool tunes. :)

I'd say we try the Wii version. The 3DS produces lower-quality music. Rayman 3D music is nothing against the original game.

Well, it depends on some stuff, but to be honest, I still believe it would be easier than breaking into freaking 3DS. A long as I know we can't even decrypt the cards yet.

To be honest I didn't listen any difference in the quality of the music in Rayman 3D, it sounds equal to the Dreamcast version. Only if you are talking about the speakers built-in in the 3DS.

Then what Stacey just did a few posts ago? She managed to at least record the Rabbids 3D music with audio jack. Of course if there is any possibility to rip from the home consoles versions, fantastic.

@Droolie: I'm gonna rerecord that particular one because I could still here a blip from where I tried to cut that bit of silence caused a screen that briefs missions or whatever. The rest should be plain sailing by the time I get to parts I haven't completed yet in my first save.

@Haurka: Depends on whether I can turn down the sfx volume if there is one and there better be one. Also if there are gonna be 3DS exclusive tracks, who knows.

When I got Rayman 3D I was actually blown away by how awesome the 3DS's sound worked, none of that fuzzy stuff the DS made. It has 3 different sound settings, surround which I have on by default, stereo and mono. So long as there's a headphone jack which this does have, recording with a 62 pence audio jack is easy then.

Hey Stace, since you can record the sound, are you also able to get snapshots? :fou2:

3DS games can't be emulated right now unfortunately, plus only very few games [ie Nintendogs] have a built in snapshot feature. Had a look around and only Super Monkey Ball 3D and another game has been dumped so far and are completely useless until they can find a flashcard [I swear they care more about these poxy things than actually emulating games!!]. Nobody likes digital camera shots so...

All right, thank you Stace. How about DSi games? I'm still intrigued by the changes they made to the original game!

As Droolie posted before only 13 DSIWare games were dumped, mostly Japanese barring a European one; Rayman not being any of them, and they carry this note [on DS-Scene these are represented by nuke symbols]:
bad.dump_encrypted.for.specific.DSi_unusable.and.not.cracked.yet awaiting redump
Basically they're practically useless for time being. DSi Enhanced ROMS however can be loaded, but they crash...

@Haruka The speakers are most likely the problem. I noticed that some of the music just came out of my 3DS like... crap. :?
They should have put more effort into the game. I mean, I was barely able to complete The Prison ship! Every once in a while I would fall throught the ground. I also think getting hit by a wall isn't really something for a 2011 game. :tssk:

@Droolie It appears that the list of games hasn't been updated. I'm quite sure this looks the same as last year.
