Name for Rayman 4

You can’t improve everything by grimdarking it. It may have worked for Nolan, but that was an isolated incident. Rayman should stay Rayman.
What exactly is Rayman?

Good question.
Well, Rayman 1 has a more of a magical atmosphere, while Rayman 2 makes it more of a casual game. Rayman 3 seems to be a more of adventure.
Magical, casual, adventure. I don't see a reason to not include drama. Perhaps if bits of humor and some silly scenes with Globox were added, this could become the perfect game for Rayman.

If companies always went back to basics that would be really lame actually. Change is the ever-lasting evolution of ideas, and it's better than moving nowhere at all, let alone going backwards.
I didn't literally mean 'Back To Basics'. I meant since it seemed they were going back to the original Rayman's setting, and they probably wouldn't have included those power-up fists from R3. That's what I meant by 'Back To Basics'.

Fun, colourful, childish, imaginative, entertaining, light-hearted, silly, whimsical, suitable for all ages. Not ‘dark and dramatic’.

Gotta say I agree with Spiral there, and I think Rayman 2 got the atmosphere right, there was plenty of drama, but it wasn't overly dark, which would be difficult to take seriously in a Rayman game.

I actually don't think there's ever going to be a game named 'Rayman 4'. Other 3D platformers, sure, but I find it more likely that they stop numbering the sequels from here. After all, this is a very common thing to do after the third installment of a longer franchise, probably to avoid drowning it in numbers and making it easier to remember. Not to mention that they've practically already started doing this with Origins.

In any case, I'd say the worst thing they could do with the title would be to make it spell 'R4YMAN' or 'RAYM4N' or whatever.

The worst thing that could happen would be R4YM4N.

Rayman 4ever as a retro installment would be quite acceptable if Shrek 4 would not exist.

And what do ya think about some title like Rayman: The Return of Razorbeard

It would be a game where Razorbeard return with his ship, new and old pirate robots and as evil as ever :hinhinhin:

That's pretty awful - not saying that my fan game has a much better name though. :P
