Re: Rayman 2
Thank you, there were indeed two moons there:

EDIT:
Hmm... not really the moon I remember though - I'll just take a snap of the ending sequence for Rayman 2.

Re: Rayman 2
In the Rayman 3 topic we were talking about R2, so I joked ''In the Rayman 2 topic they're probably talking about Rayman 3''
The first thing I see is ''The Fairy Council'' :L

It always existed two suns and two moons in the main Rayman games.

Re: Rayman 2
Yep, I knew that, but like the Rayman games, the two moons are not always visible together - and will also not be in the picture I'm drawing one of them in - hence I only need one moon as a reference. And I got one! Here's the pic I snapped for a reference image:

Too bad it's only half the moon, but with that much reference, I can copy the style and continue making the other half myself.

Quite good you got your moon^^
Re: Rayman 2
I have beaten it, but not at that age. But, to tell the truth... Rayman 3D was my first time. My game crashed, so my dad sold it to a man that now has a crashed Rayman 2 in his house... forever! I have been into the game, but besides Rayman 3 for GBA and Rayman M I never played the actual game until 2011. I now have Revolution and the PC version too.

Re: Rayman 2
Cool... I would love to play Revolution. Could someone tell me which version it is (from which console) and how to play it on my PC? I don't have whatever console it's on anyway - I know that for sure.RayTunes wrote:I have beaten it, but not at that age. But, to tell the truth... Rayman 3D was my first time. Rayman Revolution is only available on PS2, so emulators won't be working, if you are already having trouble with PS1.Shrooblord wrote:Cool... I would love to play Revolution. The game is worth the time. A huge world map to explore, minigames, upgrades, lums on different places, extra levels, original levels that have changed and contain new enemies, a battle with over 50 pirates and new music.

Re: Rayman 2
I know all of the pros, that's why I want to play it! I'm not having any trouble doing anything - the only emulator I've ever tried was for a DS and that worked fine. I really didn't know anything about Revolution, but what I meant to say was that I don't have any of the consoles Rayman 2 was ported on, only the PS1 and I'm not trying to find a PS1 game, when I know it's got ******* voice acting ruining the Rayman experience for me. I don't really care if Revolution has the same voice acting, as long as more Chevalier, awesome battle scenes and more levels make up for it.RayTunes wrote: Rayman Revolution is only available on PS2, so emulators won't be working, if you are already having trouble with PS1.

So what do I do to start playing?
Re: Rayman 2
It is necessary to have a decent computer in order to make RR playable in a PS2 emulator.

Re: Rayman 2
I have a reasonable computer. It's a few years old now, but my father built it himself to make it capable of handling intense graphics - and the sound coming from my *surround* speakers is great. I'm capable of playing graphicly heavy games, so I think it would work out.Haruka wrote:It is necessary to have a decent computer in order to make RR playable in a PS2 emulator.

Re: Rayman 2
You need RR disc/image, emulator, of which only notable is PCSX2 and PS2 bios. Then you need quite powerful computer, as PS2 is b**** to emulate in a similar way Saturn was, only Saturn has separate chips and PS2 has many weird things in the same chip.
Re: Rayman 2
depends on your ram and OS and video/sound card's and driversHaruka wrote:It is necessary to have a decent computer in order to make RR playable in a PS2 emulator.

I think it might work. It isn't bad trying out.
