Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft

Well I assume you know what 'mojo' really means, not that we should mention it, but when I say Rayman mojo, I mean that I'm playing the games again just for good nostalgia and might even draw some art of the games again because Rayman inspires me and he was the reason to join deviantart in the first place.

I know exactly what you implied, as well as do I know both where it comes from and what the guy saying it meant with it. XD

I have a question regarding my entry: how big is the maximum filesize? I have an unfinished and yet to be coloured (in detail) picture which is '66.84cm x 65 cm 300 dpi', if that means anything to you. I'm afraid that if I downsize it it will lose a massive amount of quality. Sorry if it's too big, but I was planning on not only making it an entry, but also a poster for both me and my friend's bedroom. :mryellow:
I could probably cut it up into pieces and send them along if anything is required... although that would make the image confusing to reconstruct, I think.

Well I can confirm I'm joining the contest. With only one drawing but I'm not in for the first prize anyway. :P I sadly do not live in the UK.

Finally I've finished my entry and sent it. :)

For now it is only this one, but if I get more ideas before the deadline I might create more entries.

In my side...I just finished now the lineart. From tomorrow on I will begin the colour! Normally it should be done on Tuesday. ^^ (Or before if I'm courageous XD and if I have time.)
 
I've gotten pretty far on my piece yesterday. But I'm really challenging myself with this one. We're going somewhere today though and we'll have to see if I can get it done. Probably tomorrow.

Wow, everyone's so quick with their drawings! Mine is taking ages to colour in - but maybe that's because mine is huge... XD
By the way, Hunch, did you notice my question earlier? Is there a filesize limit, because I think I might be in trouble if there is.
 
I might just take part in this. xD I've always wanted to go to the London Expo.

I hope this hasn't already been mentioned, but is it Hunch who's running this competition or is it Ubisoft? Because I'm unsure about how this is going about. I guess I would like to see some proof that this is sponsored by Ubisoft. :)
 
Pretty... stupid question from me, lol.

Let's say I want to participate (honestly, I really want, but I'm not sure I will finish my work in time - I have an idea, but no sketch lol) - may I upload the work somewhere (deviantart for example) before sending it as entry?

I prefer to ask about that - one of my friends had little problem some time ago with something familiar.
