Re: Voices from the games?
Wait, did I hear that Revolution has more Raymanschpek? More of the Rayman 2 style?
Re: Voices from the games?
Yeah, I've tested this and for example Bzzit has a weird but funny voice.RayFan9876 wrote:Wait, did I hear that Revolution has more Raymanschpek? More of the Rayman 2 style?

Yep, and if I remember correctly, other characters (like Rayman) have more voice samples too. I'll start ripping the English and Raymanian voices this evening. If anyone wants anything else, just tell me... and pay me some tingsRulez wrote:Yeah, I've tested this and for example Bzzit has a weird but funny voice.RayFan9876 wrote:Wait, did I hear that Revolution has more Raymanschpek? Nah, I'll just post them here. RayTunes is for music.ikke471 wrote:are you going to upload them to raytunes?Drolpiraat wrote:Yep, and if I remember correctly, other characters (like Rayman) have more voice samples too. Re: Voices from the games?
I dislike the raymanian in revolution, it sounds too different to the gibbberish I was used to.
Re: Voices from the games?
Well, here is the Rayman Revolution voice pack I made. I uploaded it to two different hosts.
Megaupload: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=FWHL28TE
Mediafire: http://www.mediafire.com/?u5xv8pyjgic24kd
You should only download it on one host, of course.
The voice pack contains the English and Raymanian voices from Rayman Revolution.
They're unnamed and most conversations are put together in a single audio file. It's way too hard for me to split the voice tracks correctly.
Some of the English voices apparently didn't fit in the voice sound banks anymore and the developers put them in the game as the sound effects. Clever.
That's why I also included the English version of the sound effects. Some of the sound effects may sound high or low-pitched because I didn't manage to rip them properly. Voice tracks are usually larger than 50KB, so if you only want voices, it might be a good idea to sort the files from high to low filesize.
Enjoy.

Re: Voices from the games?
Oops! I actually don't think Bzzit's voice is in there. At least, I haven't heard him in there - but I didn't listen to everything of course.Rulez wrote:Thanks Droolie! Now I can use Bzzit's Raymanian voice for... reasons
His Raymanian voice is probably also somewhere in the Raymanian sound effects. I didn't rip those as I thought everything was in the voice files.
Thanks for reminding me, I'll take a look at that tomorrow then.
The remaining Raymanian voices should be in there though.
EDIT -> Scratch that, Bzzit's voice is in BNK_116 in the Raymanian folder. Everything's in there after all.

Re: Voices from the games?
Whoa, there's lots of new gibberish I've never heard, like Rayman saying something like ''I missed you, chum!''.
The moaning in BNK_2 is damn creepy, though. River Twygz-esque.
EDIT: who's that weird guy from BNK_55?
I need to replay Revolution with Raymanian on.

Re: Voices from the games?
Haha, I noticed that too
I also found out it is surprisingly relaxing to listen to Polokus' Raymanian voice.
EDIT -> WHOA! I didn't notice the guy in BNK_55 before. He's saying something in French. Things like:
"The faster you'll run, the faster you'll die", "Say goodbye to all your friends", "I'll stuff your dead body" and "Have you thought of your epitaph?"
... whoa. Who the hell is this?

Oh, you replied the minute I edited to ask something

Re: Voices from the games?
Well I edited my post and it's definitely not Raymanian. It's French and I don't remember any of the lines being in Rayman 2. Or maybe it's what Razorbeard thinks about Rayman in the "grolgoth kills Rayman" cutscene, for the French version?Rulez wrote:Oh, you replied the minute I edited to ask something![]()

Re: Voices from the games?
Whoa, those are Razoff's lines, surprisingly! That's a mystery.

Re: Voices from the games?
The first line is Razoff’s, almost word for word. The third one is also very Razoff-ish.
Re: Voices from the games?
It's the French Boss Biditank. They left the French version in there because they didn't use any voices (maybe a small robot noise) in the Raymanian version. Disappointing. :/
It's strange though, because he uses other lines that are "animal"-themed in the French version. That doesn't really fit his character. Maybe they stole the lines from the Rayman 3 script?
EDIT -> You can check what everything is by just opening the files of the same name in the English version.

Re: Voices from the games?
Wow, I would have thought it could be Jano, since he was planning on killing Rayman since he met him, but it could be any odd baddy, really. Apparently Boss Biditank.
So, I didn't know you could turn the voice acting off in Revolution - how do you do it?

Simply, in the main menu change the language into Raymanian.Shrooblord wrote:Wow, I would have thought it could be Jano, since he was planning on killing Rayman since he met him, but it could be any odd baddy, really. Apparently Boss Biditank.
