It's pretty good. I like the ending. Have you seen the continual episode from that? It's called "Rebirth"...I think...

Re: Of the extermination of furfags
Heh, I dont really like Futurama all that much. x.x it just doesn't appeal to me. Tbh I think it's the robot; (I forgot his name D: ) he doesnt seem all that funny to me, it's more just annoying.
However, Fry's voiced by Billy West, and the two people I associate with OMG RAYMANVOICE are David Gasman and Billy West. Therefore, everytime Fry speaks, I laugh. It doesn't matter what he's saying, it's the accent. And only my brother knows why. xD

His name's Bender. And I think that's the point of him. He's supposed to be like a really annoying friend who you can't help but like.
@Rayfan, yesterday I was watching Bender's Game (I've got all 4 movies on DVD), and I got a great idea for a game! It would be awesome to make a Futurama fan-game! Especially one where you can control Magic-Using Professors and Bow-Weilding Centaurs! (Not to mention a few *whistle whistle* attacks from Gynacaladriel! A.K.A Amy) At least- I think it would be. It would be a 1-4-player game where you would have 4 characters on the screen at any one time. Some awesome gameplay mixed with a few funny cutscenes from the movie and I think this game could be a hit.

I'd rather just forget about the whole fantasy segment of Bender's Game. One of the weakest moments of the entire series imo.

Agreed, by far one of the most boring moments.Tobbe wrote:I'd rather just forget about the whole fantasy segment of Bender's Game. One of the weakest moments of the entire series imo.
That, and that one episode where they changed genders.
I LOVE the time travel episodes though, like the Late Philip J Fry.
Re: Of the extermination of furfags
The Late Phillip J. Fry is indeed a very good episode. One of the few quality episodes of the last season.

Re: Of the extermination of furfags
The fantasy parody in Bender’s Game was flat as a pancake, but for me, the most disappointing moment in the series was the recent episode Overclockwise. The premise – Bender is overclocked repeatedly until he attains god-like omniscience – is brilliant. The episode was actually written with the possibility that it would be the series finale in mind – they didn’t yet know if they were going to get renewed. This raises the possibility of some dramatic changes to the status quo. I was expecting something epic, and on a cosmic scale, along the lines of the similar (and much better) episodes Godfellas and Benderama. For the most part, the episode turned out to be a dull courtroom drama with a focus on Cubert and some rather irrelevant consumer rights commentary.
When they get to the real series finale, I hope they pull out all the stops and deliver something mind-blowing – the series deserves it.

Re: Of the extermination of furfags
They're planning a series finale? This thing needs a good eight or more seasons before that happens.
Also during Bender's Game, I was kind of hoping they would be taking off Ender's Game.

Re: Of the extermination of furfags
They’ve already produced several episodes which were intended to serve as a series finale – The Devil’s Hands Are Idle Playthings (satisfying), Into the Wild Green Yonder (acceptable) and Overclockwise (disappointing).

Re: Of the extermination of furfags
Well I guess I'll have to wait and see. I used to watch random episodes of Futurama all the time on TV, but I only recently started watching them all in order. I haven't seen any of the "new episodes," (you know what I mean) so I'll progress there from my current position on season two. How many do they have now, six? Was season five still part of the "old episodes?"

Re: Of the extermination of furfags
The fifth season, which is composed of four feature-length episodes, is considered part of the ‘new episodes’. The division, which occurred when the show was cancelled by Fox and picked up by Comedy Central a few years later, marked a moderate decline in quality, but the ‘new episodes’ are still perfectly watchable. There are currently six seasons, with two more confirmed the last time I checked.
Re: Of the extermination of furfags
One more 26 episode season has been ordered, but it will be aired over the course of the two next summers as two mini-seasons denominated season 7A and 7B. The same thing they did with season 6, in other words.

Re: Of the extermination of furfags
We should make a Futurama topic guys. personally I liked Into The Wild Green Yonder, and Rebirth (season 6 episode 1) was good because it added a bit of complexity to the plot. I don't wanna spoil the whole episode for Rayfan thought so I won't say the plot. Speaking of which I'm going to go watch some Futurama. I recently started re-watching the movie-length ones, starting at Bender's Game, Into The Wild Green Yonder, Bender's Big Score, and now I'll finish up with Beast With A Billion Backs.

Why are you watching the movies in the wrong order, beebo?

Re: Futurama
I've never been into Futurama that much but I do admit I enjoy bits of it and very much like the Simpsons the series is dieing out. Recently I've been watching a few random clips that get recomended to me on youtube.

I've only watched a few of the earlier episodes, but I really like it so far.
