Though online co-op on Origins would be nice IMO, you could imagine all we Rayman fans collaborating and sharing experiences with other like-minded fans online...Itooh said:Mmm, I would think more Banjo-Kazooïe, or Banjo-Tooïe (mostly Tooïe). They are platform games, but with a large part of exploration (more than Mario 64).
I often compare Banjo-Tooïe with Metroïd, even if it sound strange.^^ In both of these games, the player has to go back to places he already visited, but with new powers so he can unlock some doors or obstacles. And there are also shortcut everywhere in Banjo-Tooïe.^^
A Rayman Game with an open world, and non-linear levels, with connections between them, could be a great concept. It would gather platform (well, 3D platform), exploration, and fun.
I don't think it's better than linear platforming (It is just too different), but it can match with the Rayman universe.
But online multiplayer ? No, I really don't see the interest. :/ Even Rayman Origin is a one player game (with a coop mode), and in platform games, we don't really need to interacts with other characters/players. We cross obstacles, that's all !^^
Really !?Rulez said:Why spelling Kazooie with an ''ï''? It's spelled ''Kazooie'' and finito.
What for? The topic would cause fans to hate and haters to laugh.RayTunes said:I'll post a topic about Rayman MMO on my upcoming forum ^
We had an ALMIGHTY book in Rayman Junior. But yeah, that was for kids.Master4lyf1 said:Forgive me when I say this, but I think firstly; that's clichéd, and secondly; a ALMIGHTY wand? in Rayman's world?
Junior had simple story that kids liked. I will have to say that the platforming is still a bitch.spiraldoor said:Rayman received a golden wand at the end of Rayman Junior. Of course, its purpose was never explained, and it was never seen again.
what about polokus's masks?Master4lyf1 said:Good point, but in a serious Rayman game, defeating evil with a mere object like a wand or book is not exactly what the series is renowned for.
There's four, and they do have some mystical element which makes them more unique, they are used to reawaken GOD.ikke471 said:what about polokus's masks?Master4lyf1 said:Good point, but in a serious Rayman game, defeating evil with a mere object like a wand or book is not exactly what the series is renowned for.
Neither did they directly kill ''The evil forces of Ganon.''Master4lyf1 said:There's four, and they do have some mystical element which makes them more unique, they are used to reawaken GOD.ikke471 said:what about polokus's masks?Master4lyf1 said:Good point, but in a serious Rayman game, defeating evil with a mere object like a wand or book is not exactly what the series is renowned for.
Or Polokus in that case.
They do not directly kill "the forces of evil"
It appears the smallest, laziest pirate was too much work.Master4lyf1 said:And even then there was a catch, Rayman had to go fight Razor because Polokus could not.
