Still following along that lines that rayman is part of speices. Does the fact that he was created by the nymphs, mean that Tarazan was also?

Edit: What if Tarazan was like Dark Rayman? Not so much an alter-ego, but connected to rayman in some way?

Edit: What if he was like test subject? Like, the nymphs experimented when making him? So they could get Rayman exactly right?

In the end, Rayman was born with a few missing limbs, which as it turned out, made him a whole lot more limber!

I think this alone shows that the Nymphs were still the creatures who were responsible for Rayman's creation.

Fair do, although what the website says is almost identical to what the manual says

This is what the Bubble Dreamer says for Rayman ingame:

Hey Rayman! Welcome Back! Was I Having a bad dream again?

I think that atleast implies that the nymphs created Rayman.

That's right, but I think what it changed (or remained unclear) is that Rayman was created by a group of nymphs, not just one/by Betilla.

That’s not a change, at least not exactly. Back in the first trailer, Betilla still said ‘woven together by us, the nymphs’, even though her sisters were nowhere to be seen. This makes me think the idea is that Betilla created Rayman with the help of the other nymphs, but she’s still the ‘lead creator’.

Yes, the trailer narration, and the actual 'film' itself show only Bastilla creating Rayman. And yes, the other...

However, is that trailer still regarded as 'canon'?

Nymphs and fairies are said to be the same thing.

And I think the first trailer, at least for Rayman's birth might be still a cannon since the manual still defends the fact. Now for the rest, I don't think so.
