Seriously?

I think they aren't very very different at all, at least the skin colour does looks identical.

I see the Bubble Dreamer has less neck fat than Polokus because instead of sitting around on a pedestal all day he flies about and acts like a mad lunatic - quite the calories-burning activity. As a result, Polokus looks like one big blob of Irish and lovely fat, while the Bubble Dreamer looks like ... well, more like a frog.

I've always considered Polokus to resemble a frog-like being in some sort, really. The only thing they changed in Origins is that they elongated his legs, or at least, caused them to stick out of his pants (which he no longer wears), they got rid of his hat and they gave him some groovy face grass.

Ah well see because of the hat motive and how the trousers look I thought Irish - he's fat so there's your blob of fat - and because I meant not to offend, plus because it's true, I added 'lovely'.
Then again, in that reasoning he could be called Scottish because of the motif on his pants, but together with the orange hair from Origins I guess I stereotyped him to Irish.
Quite reasonable to be offended, but no hostility intended.

I’m not offended, it’s just that ‘big blob of Irish and lovely fat’ makes no sense.

The Griskins are Irish. Polokus, not so much.

Ah ok. Well, it's just my opinion. Not every opinion makes sense I guess.

Were you saying that the blob was Irish, or that the fat was Irish? Or that the blob was made of fat? Opinions indeed.

Oh I see.
Polokus is linked to all three. He looks Irish, looks like a blob of fat and is lovely. Hmm but the grammatical correctness wasn't really my point - we were comparing the Bubble Dreamer and Polokus, weren't we?

What's that stereotype of the Irish people being fat?

I thought that was an American stereotype?
The Irish stereotype I've heard, is to do with mystical folk, such as leprechauns, and green suits and leaves.
What's funny is that my English teacher is Irish.

Ugh, no. I stereotyped the pants to Irish, causing me to call him Irish - I called him fat, because he basicly doesn't have much shape but the line of his belly - I called him lovely because I wasn't really trying to burn him down; I was trying to describe him the best I could in a what was intented to be a funny comparisson. But this has gone completely out of hand. Let's move on.

They sure are! My Irish cousins are the friendliest and funniest people I know.

Irish being fat? Only from the rum-induced potbelly.

I wish I had Irish relatives.

We don’t drink rum over here. This isn’t Pirates of the Caribbean.

It's not? What is it then? Would you prefer Whiskey?

You could just drink beer. Do you have any good beer in Ireland?
