I used to have a Myspace account years ago till I got bored of it and deleted it..lol I think I deleted it though. Or just stopped using it all together.

Can anyone explain to me the difference between websites like Facebook, Google+ and other ones? I want to start a new account but I've never used these before and don't understand the differences, or the interface for that matter.
