Bad Rayman (theme music)

I'm wondering, has anyone ever stumbled upon some theme music (a la Rayman M / Arena) that could fit Bad Rayman, and that is in style with the other theme music?

Thanks in advance,

The fellow here isn't asking for THE theme of Bad Ray (if it even exists).
He's asking if there exists a piece of music in Rayman M/Arena's style that would FIT Bad Ray.

Indeed. Mind you, I was thinking about Bad Rayman, butideally, I'd have both Bad Rayman and Dark Rayman in my game, so the question goes for both Bad and Dark Rayman.

I suppose I could also do smply stuff like, change the pitch or whatever of Rayman's music... Hey... Now there's an idea for theme music for skins...

To reference the original bad Rayman, I'd use the drums playing in the Bad Rayman chase in the PS1 version (see RayTunes) and put a "threatening" version (with orchestra and choirs, but also electric guitars toward the end lol) of Rayman's theme song under it. That would fit him nicely I think. :)

A very quick session with WavePad resulted in this. It's Rayman's theme music, with the speed and pitch (I think, I'm not sure to be honest) set at 50%, with the Bad Rayman chases from the PS1 version of Rayman 1 playing in the background (first the first variation, then the second, then the first, etc). Henchman 800's theme music, also with speed and pitch (?) set to 50%, is also playing the background, with the volume also set to 50%. And, occasionally, I put those 'alarm-like sounds' from Razorwife's theme music in the background, also with speed and pitch (?) set to 50%.

It sounds kind of messy, but that was the general idea. A bit chaotic, gloomy, but also sort of 'relaxing', if one could call it that. Hmm, anyway, opinions?

Interesting concept, and it doesn't sound as strange as I thought it would.

Yeah, you really ought to listen to very music piece with the speed and pitch (I'm not sure whether it is pitch though) set to 50%. And 200%. Henchman 800's music, set to 200%, would be a GREAT track to play in a disco (well, the beginning, quite early it becomes too funky, but the beginning could easily be looped and it sounds nice), for instance. You'd expect they all sound ugly, but they really don't.

Anyway, thanks for the opinion. :P

Heh, I used to love speeding up and slowing down waveforms about five or six years back, that's how I gained my interest in audio engineering/design and composition.

Invalid or deleted file? How unfortunate.

I'm German as well. Sie haben Licht auf eine sensible Thema noch niemandem gelungen ist, berührt. Außer für Sie. Es war ein Scherz. Es macht viel mehr Sinn in englischer Sprache.

(Spiral, if you read this, yes, I found out that I still am part German).

Ich mache sowieso ein neue Signatur
Ihre Signatur: Anstelle von "Fire is my to life," Sie sollten sagen: "Fire keeps me alive."
