Have you tried toying around with the compatibility settings?
Or Right-click and Run as admin?

Yes, I have tried but no it does not work.... ran as admin, xp compatibilty, nothing works...
AHH. Not only rayman M, but also rayman 3.
What torrent did you guys use to make rayman M work? Please, I really want to play this amazing game so badly :(
I absolutely don't know what to do!
I run win7 64x
Thank you for your help still.

In all unfortunate honesty, it might have something to do with your registry, and that would mean you might need to reinstall Windows to get it to work. Or perhaps you could partition an unused piece of your drive and do so, but that's only in a worst-case scenario.

If you're feeling really desperate, use a virtual machine that supports acceleration, such as VMware, and put the game onto that.
I had to do this prior to the release of the gog version of Rayman 2.

YES! I HAVE VMWARE! But I don't know how to put anything in it...
I have windows 2000 on Vmware.. can you please help me? :D I would appreciate it!

If you've got the discs you should be able to set it up so that the VMWare can pick it up, if not, go on the internet with it and get an app to mount an ISO with...

...I think that's how I got mine working in that...

I'll try.

Whilst the Virtual machine is on, navigate to:
Removable Devices > CD/DVD (IDE) > Settings...

In here, in the connection section, select "Use physical drive" and choose the disc drive Rayman 2 is in.
I don't have a physical disc of Rayman 2 anymore, so I've used Rayman 3 (Disc 2) in Drive G:// to demonstrate.

Once done, select "Display" in the Device column, and enable hardware acceleration:

Ensure that the CD/DVD drive is connected, then go into "My Computer" on your Virtual Machine, in the disc drive, it should have whatever is in your physical drive.
Run and install as normal, then try playing it.
If it worked like mine, then you're all set!

Dear Adsolution,

first of all - i am an ambiotioned Rayman M fanatic, so to speak. Thus, Rayman M was my first PC game ever and i am still playing it. However, i would like to try out Rayman Arena just for the sake of experiencing the tiny differences. But here is the problem: Your files are not accessible anymore, some of them are blocked by MediaFire. Would you please be so kind to reupload them?

Thanks in advance!

Greetings, RayGician

Hello again,

thanks for your quick reply.
I won´t say they´re removed, i´d rather say they restricted access to premium users only because of a reached limit. At least thats what it says for some of the files.

Thank you very much for looking into it!

It's more to do with the fact that they're cracking down on split archive files yet strangely enough I could still download some of them and I'm not even a paying member... strange.

Yeah, Mediafire has been blocking split archives for a while now. As soon as a part of a split archive gets downloaded 10 times in a week, it gets blocked for the rest of the week. They've been deleting a lot of files, too. I switched to another host because they made most of my uploads completely inaccessible. :/

Or just bypass MediaFire`s watchout for split archives and put a ".txt" behind the filename. You could as well just remove the file extension. That way MediaFire can not find any split archives during scans or because of their internal download limit. Downloaders will just have to rename the files accordingly.

Of course a single file would be nice to have, but only if it doesnt exceed the limits for free-users who want to download that file ^^

I´d owe you so much - searching quite a long time for Rayman Arena now, but since its one of those games that easily can be considered "forgotten", i actually was amazed to find a whole Rayman community instead. Looking for copper, finding gold, always nice.

Hey I'm testing your links again. it seems that the one for R_ARENA1.part2.rar doesn't work. The other ones for the first CD of R ARENA work btw.

The links for the second CD are working too. Good job, I could test Rayman Arena for the first time :D.

When I try to get part 1 of Rayman 2 from the first link, it comes up with this:The file you attempted to download is an archive that is part of a set of archives. MediaFire does not support unlimited downloads of split archives and the limit for this file has been reached. MediaFire understands the need for users to transfer very large or split archives, up to 10GB per file, and we offer this service starting at $1.50 per month. Is there any way somebody can fix this? (Reuploading also counts.)
