Polokus = Bubble Dreamer

Deal with it people. I preferred the old designs too, but suggesting them to be different characters is insane.

Re: Rayman Origins
That's really confusing though, just refer to them as "R1 Magician" or "R2 Polokus," "Origins Magician" or "Bubble Dreamer/Origins Polokus." why not something more simple like that?TeensieKing wrote:No one did that.We just refer to them with a 'real' beforespiraldoor wrote:Sadly some people are unable to accept differing interpretations of the same character, and would prefer to explain differences away with ridiculous duplicates.Bionichute wrote:So now we're saying that The Bubble Dreamer isn't the "real" Polokus, and that The Magician isn't the "real" Magician?

Re: Rayman Origins
Whatever Ubisoft is preparing for Rayman this E3, it may (and just MAY) not be related to Ubiart this time. Ubiart is occupied now, producing a new game!!!
As long as I've been reading, the game is called UbiArt Presents: Sketchtarium, and it will be downloadable for Wii U

Re: Rayman Origins
So according to the Rayman facebook page:
Little update on the next important dates for Rayman :
- Rayman 3 HD will be released tomorrow on the PSN and the XBLA
- Rayman Origins PC will be released on March 29th both in the US (digital only) and in Europe (digital + retail) (March 30th for the UK). You can still preorder it to receive a free downloadable copy of Rayman 2!
- Rayman Origins 3DS will be released on June 5th in the US, June 8th in the UK, and June 7th in the rest of Europe
NA gets a digital copy only??
I wanted a nice CD case. Would the UK retail version be region locked or something?

Re: Rayman Origins
So what's the difference between Rayman Origins for the Wii and all and for the PC? And the HD version, is that also for the PC (I guess that's a version with improved graphics for the Wii and such, but...)?

The fuck? I wanted to place Rayman Origins on my shelf of PC games. If it isn't region locked, then I'll be ordering a shipment.

Re: Rayman Origins
... Oh... I read 'Rayman Origins HD' instead of 'Rayman 3 HD'. I already wondered why I didn't know about a Rayman Origins HD.

I see what you did there. It was clever, but not too clever. Somewhat clever on a mediocre level, but quite fitting for the situation indeed.spiraldoor wrote:There is a Rayman Origins HD. It’s called Rayman Origins.

Re: Rayman Origins
I don't quite get why NA is only getting digital copies and not the disc...of course steam junkies are lapping that fact right up. Someone's bound to rip the disc version of it at some point so I guess that's one way of finding out about region blocking.

Re: Rayman Origins
I wonder if the PC version has any mouse controls at all. I'd like to see what they'd make of that.
Also, does the PC version include any of the additions (read: confusing mozaics) of the Vita version?

Good question hereShrooblord wrote: Also, does the PC version include any of the additions (read: confusing mozaics) of the Vita version?
Re: Rayman Origins
For some reason I doubt it. The PC version looks like a port from the PS3 one -I think the extra features will probably remain on the Vita (which is a shame because it will be harder to rip the new music
)

The rollback button on the wiki really should ask us if we’re sure when we click on it. Lately I keep reverting random edits by accident.
Re: Rayman Origins
1.Mouse controls in 2d platformer? Really? It isn't necessary since there's no cross-hair and free-aiming. But I hope pad(s) will be supported as I'm going to play in co-op mode.Shrooblord wrote:I wonder if the PC version has any mouse controls at all. I'd like to see what they'd make of that.

2.This addition is PSV exclusive (But as far as I know Vita's version has no co-op mode implemented - it is single-player only).
Re: Rayman Origins
Again because of the crash, I'll repost here what I said in the last time.
A few weeks ago, I've contacted the Ubisoft Technical Support (I was redirected to the Spanish because of the website's automatic redirects, and probably because Ubisoft Spain is "who takes care" of game distribution and assistance in Portugal) concerning the partial blackscreen problem I was experiencing in the demo version of Rayman Origins.
I must say I'm highly disappointed with the assistance I've had, if that could be even called an assistance...
For you guys having an idea, the person who tried to solve my problem was telling me to upgrade my drivers (even the audio one, when I was actually experiencing a graphical problem!) when I already had them up to date and referred that when I wrote to the support.
But the best part of all of this was his affirmation of my graphical card "not being supported by the game at the time of release"
.
My graphical card is an ASUS EAH5770, manufactured by ATi Technologies., it is even more advanced and recent than the initial one I've had in my desktop computer (an NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT that one day died already out of warranty and I had to get a new card).
And now look at here: http://ubisoft-sp.custhelp.com/app/answ ... WUI5VWs%3D
My graphical card corresponds to the list, since it is from ATi RADEON and belongs to the 5000 series.
Is this a joke? What he said does not make any sense, if it was not supported, the game wouldn't run at first place. My drivers are all up to date, including DirectX that has got the 9.0c version and SDK of June 2010, the last one released for Windows XP (Mine is a Professional SP3). I wonder how he arrived the conclusion my graphical card was not supported, it would be funny if it was just because the model name of my card doesn't say in the very left side "ATi/ATi Radeon".
He also said it could be a demo problem. Well I'm sorry, but it also appears in the final version at the very same moment...
I think they can start to think about a patch developing.
Well, I want to ask to all the members here that are interested in the PC version of Rayman Origins and own the same operating system as mine, Windows XP Professional SP3, and later experience a similar or equal glitch to mine, please tell me.
