Anyone have the iOS version of Rayman 2?

I'm constantly trying to find out whether this port is worth playing or not but I don't have any iOS compatible devices and every review I read is not giving me a straight answer. I hear it's a port of the Dreamcast version then somewhere else says it just uses the Dreamcast engine (both might be the same but I don't know). So can anyone here who owns the port give me a straight answer?

I played it all the way through. In terms of content, it’s the Dreamcast version minus the Globox Village. The controls are terrible.

So no enhancements or anything? It's basically the iPhone's version of Rayman DS?

I've only tried it during 30 minutes once (since I don't own an iOS), and I must say it is a downgraded Dreamcast version that does not include Globox Village. The controls are even worse than in Rayman DS, but at least in the rest is better than the DS port.

It's basically the Dreamcast version with PC graphics minus Globox village, which makes it virtually the exact same as Rayman 3D (minus the 3D). I never had a problem with the controls at all, in fact I found them just as easy to use as any other version (aside from Rayman DS with that dreaded delay). But maybe that's me appreciating the fact that the touch screen controls were pretty much as good as they get. You can't complain there.

All in all it's an excellent port considering what it is, and I haven't com across any glitches or bugs. It plays at a solid 60 FPS too.

Hmm, I believe the Dreamcast version is the same as the PC version, except for the Globox Village, right? Or is it like the PS1 version, or...?

For some reason the Wiki doesn't work for me, so I can't really find out. :P

The Dreamcast version has got better graphism, believe me or not. In here you also have extra decorations, minor level structure changes (Especially in the Cave of Bad Dreams) and much more responsive control. You also have full 60FPS.

And Rayman 3D is...? :P
Oh.

Rayman 3D/iOS is basically the Dreamcast version with PC graphics and minus Globox village. That seems to be the common porting nowadays.

Well then... All I can say is 'lol'. :P

I asked whether the iOS one is the same as the Dreamcast one.
You said it's the same as Rayman 3D.
I then ask what Rayman 3D is.
You say it's the same as the Dreamcast one (minus the Globox Village, but I knew that). :P

Funny. :P And none the less thank you, of course.

I said it isn't because it isn't really. One of the main features of the Dreamcast was the upgraded graphics, but they are merely the PC graphics in these versions.
