What is exactly the difference then? You may not use personal preferences... and you are playing a game seemingly for the first time, so then your choices will be totally random in most cases. Gaross, I can't see the point.

It's definitely not that easy to find who's who when using aliases. On the other hand, if we didn't use those, choices wouldn't be random because we'd tend to eliminate those we think are the greatest threats, that is to say the best players.

Still Cooloo is OK with that (quite'a), because "moderate" player with currently useful character is a greater threat than uber player with not-so-useful character. Moreover no one is technically best here, as Cooloo is NOT Mafia after all.
 
I'd really want to try it but there are something in the rules I still don't understand, I'll read it again. But for me is a good idea have this again.
 
I think I'd rather host than play. Maybe attach a poll to the first post or smth to see if there are enough people willing to play.

I don't know, I think it's really time to revive this game and I'm pretty sure we'll get at least a dozen participants if we ask old members, so this shouldn't be much of a problem. So, who else? :D
