I preferred the original idea, and the escaping through the anus part had me laughing. I can just imagine a one way sign in front of the exit, and then Globox has to push you out because you don't want to.sergiomonty wrote:Yes I have it, I liked the idea too, though it was kinda weird. I like their original concept with his fat body, curved jaw and stubby arms and legs.

I think I like the final style better. His original style seems almost too dark for a game this outrageous. (Couldn't think of a lighter word for dark without making it sound weird.)BabyDragonChef wrote:I like their original concept with his fat body, curved jaw and stubby arms and legs.

I also dislike the other idea of entering through the rump.sergiomonty wrote:Yes I have it, I liked the idea too, though it was kinda weird. It was some kind of weird maze, and you're supposed to enter by the nose. However, I dislike the idea of escaping by the anus

Re: Rayman Origins
Anyone have any tips for defeating those Robots in Moody Clouds? I can get past them but it takes me a while everytime except for the part with the gears above the lava pit.

Re: Rayman Origins
The easiest method is to punch them into things which would normally harm you, they can only be destroyed by doing that.Yoshidude99 wrote:Anyone have any tips for defeating those Robots in Moody Clouds? Re: Rayman Origins
One thing you can do is to try to wait for the robots' attack and while they are releasing the energy beam, they can't move from the position they are attacking. This can be used as an opportunity to counter-attack and throw them to a trap that destroys them.Yoshidude99 wrote:Anyone have any tips for defeating those Robots in Moody Clouds? Re: Rayman Origins
I wish more enemies were as challenging as the Robots and had more ways to be defeated than just one hit.. *sigh*

Re: Rayman Origins
I agree, what made enemies special in all previous Rayman games is that some required special means to beat, such as the Spinneroo.

Re: Rayman Origins
What about in Rayman 1? There were interesting enemies like the Tentacle Flower and the Stonemen. It is true that Stonemen return in RO, but they were also too easy to beat in here, while in Rayman 1 they attacked in many ways and were litterally invincible.

Indeed, the variety of ways to beat enemies is what made them unique and interesting, rather than just spinning past without a care in the world.Haruka wrote:What about in Rayman 1? In retrospect, RO loves moving at specific paces, having more powerful enemies would interrupt that pace.

I'm hoping enemies similar to the Knarren are in the Land of the Livid Dead when I get to it.

Re: Rayman Origins
OK, I'm with a stupid problem in the PC version of Rayman Origins.
When I play the Tricky Treasure level "Playing in the Shade", the "camera" is zoomed for an unknown reason.
To prove I'm not crazy, just look at here in the beginning:
Does anyone has experienced this problem?
If not, I guess I'll visit the Ubisoft Technical Support forums for the second time. Having the camera like this makes the level unplayable!
EDIT: Eh, removed the file.

I love the Knaaren. But the Livid Dead aren't half as awesome.Yoshidude99 wrote:I'm hoping enemies similar to the Knarren are in the Land of the Livid Dead when I get to it.

Re: Rayman Origins
Rayman was god damn overpowered in Origins, it's a hard decision... keeping the fast pace? or giving balance to Rayman's attacks against enemies?Master4lyf1 wrote:Indeed, the variety of ways to beat enemies is what made them unique and interesting, rather than just spinning past without a care in the world.Haruka wrote:What about in Rayman 1? I think I see the problem, because the game fucks with your eyesight when it zooms out while your concentrating on a single point.RayFan9876 wrote:I don't see the problem, it looks fine to me.Haruka wrote:OK, I'm with a stupid problem in the PC version of Rayman Origins.![]()
