Re: Polokus vs Bubble Dreamer
But luckily, we have our strong and mighty Herc-- spiraldoor to protect us from such hideous creatures!
Now then... two Glades?! This doesn't exactly sound plausible. Perhaps if you thought the two-dimensional Glade shared the same spot as the three-dimensional one, and thus shared the same plane of existance, essentially meaning there is only one Glade, but most technically speaking meaning there are two Glades... in one. Dimensions are funny like that.

I'm officially confused.Shrooblord wrote:Now then... two Glades?! This doesn't exactly sound plausible. And that is why I prefer Spirals theory.
Re: Polokus vs Bubble Dreamer
Come on guys, there's just one Glade of Dreams. Full stop. Where's the confusion?

It’s not mine, and it’s not a theory. It’s just the way the world is presented in the games.Master4lyf1 wrote:And that is why I prefer Spirals theory.

It's fun to confuse logic with science fiction.

Each to their own. But remain realistic.
@Spiral: Understood, I'll refrain from noting it as a theory.

Re: Polokus vs Bubble Dreamer
We've already discussed whether the Bubble Dreamer was an alter-ego of Polokus. Everyone seems convinced that they are the same, but they still seem to look kind of different.Hoodlum1 wrote:I would like to see more forms of the bubble dreamer and does that mean that jano can shapeshift too ...
Also, is there even a difference between and alter-ego and shapeshifting?
Re: Polokus vs Bubble Dreamer
Who said alter-ego? He probably still is a shapeshifter, but that concept not being shown to the player in the final game.

Yeah who knows what Jano got up to in the events of the first bad dream and what powers he possessed!!
I really think they should make that a game wouldn't that be awesome

Re: Polokus vs Bubble Dreamer
Some events are better left written rather than played, by making a game based on the First Bad Dream, more story elements may have to be included, as such, this can cause restrictions in creativity later on in the timeline.

Re: Polokus vs Bubble Dreamer
Maybe they could have another go at a Rayman series in 2D explaining all of the past events of Rayman
I like when loose knots are all tied up

Yeah!Hoodlum1 wrote:I really think they should make that a game wouldn't that be awesome
But the story would be hard to write.
Think of Rayman Origins *sigh*:
- Mr. Dark (I mean, come on. A teensie?)
- Confusion with the prequel sequel stuff
- And of course, we wouldn't be here today if they hadn't of changed Polokus' name...
EDIT: Don't get me wrong. Rayman origins is a great and awesome game! Absolutely fun to play!

Yeah but they changed that... it could tell the story of the events leading to the birth of Rayman?!

Re: Polokus vs Bubble Dreamer
I know they changed it... i know... i have watched the original video and read the damn script it was clear to me way before you said; "Rayman Origins was meant to be set in the 'origins' of Rayman, and then they changed it..." four times before soooo i am quite aware of what the definition of "origins" is and about the original time setting of the damn game. Thank you very damn much. I also don't appreciate your condescending three dots btw..... i don't know where i would be today without your vast wisdom..... once again..... Thanks..............maxxyboy1000 wrote:Well yes, that would be awesome. But what I'm saying is that Rayman Origins was meant to be set in the 'origins' of Rayman, and then they changed it...Hoodlum1 wrote:Yeah but they changed that... it could tell the story of the events leading to the birth of Rayman?!
.....heres a goddamn medal for the genius.... a 12 year old goddamn einstein...... again THANKS...............
Re: Polokus vs Bubble Dreamer
I don't think that post properly conveys just how thankful you are for all this wisdom. Needs more umph. Only then will the post reach its true potential.
Maxxy, is there any particular reason you went back and bumped threads that haven't been posted in for roughly a year now?
