Movies you just recently watched

The Alien connections are mostly oblique. It’s set several decades before it, on a different planet, and it shares none of its characters. If Prometheus makes enough money, Ridley Scott plans to direct two sequels which will bridge the gap between the two films – like the Star Wars prequels, but actually good.

You’d better try to lower your expectations a bit though – it’s a very polarising film. In retrospect it was probably unwise of me to describe it as ‘extremely good’ (though I still think that’s what it is). The critical consensus is that the direction, the cast, the visuals, the sets, the props and the special effects are all excellent, but the script is a bit of a mess. (I admit that the characters’ behaviour isn’t always logical, and the story raises more questions than it answers.) The fan reaction, on the other hand, is all over the place, with some loving it and others overcome by vitriolic hatred. (It’s one of the most hyped-up films of all time, so the backlash was probably inevitable.) It’s the sort of film that’ll leave you thinking about it and debating it for a long time, regardless of whether you liked it. A real conversation-starter.

Prometheus is insane and extremely good.
Great! I want to see it. Although I would prefer OV but most of cinema theatres in France are only in French which is a shame :(

Nah wait wait I'm pretty sure he's just trolling. Well played, Rayrobi, well played. But I shall remind you of the game. You just lost it.

This is my wrath.

My biggest surprise was watching Bowser in it. I believe this is going to be a great classical Disney movie since a long time, since the last one I've watched (Chicken Little) was disappointing.

I love how the ghosts names all rhyme and then... Clyde xD

That film is new to me... I quite like how it looks. :)
