To be honest, whether or not Rayman get's in the game, it's good that he's back in action away from being a mere cameo, recognition would be nice, yes, but as long as the series remains true to what it has made and continues to grant us great games, then a mere role in another game is insignificant.

Wikipedia is NOT a reliable source when it comes to things like this, so I'm going to go say fake.
 
The thing is, Ratchet, Sackboy, and Big Boss (MGS3 Snake) are basically guaranteed to be in the game, but Rayman? It's hard to tell.
 
Ubisoft has a good relationship with Sony, Im sensing both an Assassins creed Rep and Rayman to be announced eventually, whilst a rabbid will be announced for the new smash bros ;D

Rayman being in this game should be maybe 35% 40%.

That came from Italian Wikipedia, and there is no reference to back up Rayman's presence.
 
Durrr well that's one more post filled with dreams that can be shoved into the closet and locked away for good. Too bad - I would have liked playing as Rayman in a Smash Bros-like game.
 
Rayman would fit so perfectly! Just imagine all the unique things he could do to kick some butt. Oh well, I'm kind of fifty-fifty on this thing. Maybe, maybe not, maybe in a DLC, maybe in some other similar game.
 
On the official forums Rayman is still the most popular Ubi rep, with Ezio in second place. The developer Superbot want characters that can bring a unique moveset and play style to the experience yet also appealing to the fans and Rayman fits that category.
