Not really, lots of people now have more than 250,000 Tings. You only need to be present on a few record days and you'll reach six figures.

Besides, we give out special avatars for winning SOTM, record day etc, so the value is lost there too.
 
Well, only 2 or 3 people.
But I think 200.000 Tings for the top ranks should be the best option, at least for me.

Like Danone said, 2 or 3 people. Well, I think the only one who more then 250,000 tings is Hunchman.
 
I think someone posted a list of the richest members not so long ago. It's not easy because of all the storage accounts.

There's a lot of storage accounts, but anyone who cares enough can do the math with the main accounts.
 
That is a bunch of tings there. I see what you did there Hunchman. You scratched out Ting whores because those people have a bunch and bunch of tings and you didn't wanna be mean to them.
 
The thing is, if all those ranks that got a lot of votes in the 'who do you want in' poll get into the ranking system, those with many, many Tings will be able to choose from so many and so diverse a rank that they might not feel the need to have a 'special' rank. I, for one, would be more than happy to one day be able to choose from Razorbeard, Foutch, Henchman800 and Mr Dark. I wouldn't need an extra super special awesome rank just to top that. The ability to choose from a wad of really neat pictures is good enough for me, especially if one of them's Foutch. :P

There's probably a valid explanation that doesn't involve that ol' paranoid quack concerning counterfeit Ting hoarding.
