R4 Prototype music and sounds discovered!

True, a lot of the music is badly edited Rayman 2 music and then there are some pieces from other songs and games (I think).
The only thing this did for the developers is set the mood for the game.
What I really like though is the track "Cine_arrivee_cachot". According to the name it was used for Rayman entering his prison cell. I don't know why they scrapped that scene - the music and the sounds set a perfect atmosphere there. Gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it.
 
All prototype music is on RayTunes, included in the RRR soundtrack, starting from track 165. :)

Wow, only noticed this now. I must say, I never realised just how awesome R2's music was until I heard the high-quality RRR rips! :o

Hang on, where is this track originally from then? I couldn't find the exact one you mean; the one on RT was named 'The Spider Appears', but I guess that's what you meant. I recognise it from that famous YT gopher video - is this game where it originally came from?
