Rayman 3 scores

We don't know what they did exactly to remove this limitation nor if it were possible to implement it.
Besides, Rayman 3 for PC has been around for 9 years, games aren't supported for that long.
There are other things Ubi could patch in older Rayman titles preceding Rayman 3, such as the No-CD annoyance in Rayman 2.

It never was a bug but what the hell... if that would happen, even the best players would go back to their good old console and restart Rayman 3 for a higher max score.
Anyway, 756k and 77k in SBTC!
 
If I recall correctly, the developers were expecting scores around 500000 to be the best score possible, guess they decided to accommodate the much higher scorers by removing the limit in the HD version.

It would be very nice. I don't know how many great players like MandM or Dildo would do in TLOTLD.

77k...:o thumbs up. Personnally i reached 57k on PC last time I finished.

So why make a HD version on PS3 and not review the PC version ? I don't think the OS could be a problem as GOG made versions up to date for W7 64 bits. Maybe they are just too lazy :P (kidding around...).
 
They also left in the direction to go to raymanzone.com, even though it would have been more correct to change it to raymanpc.com. I think that they changed R2 because the No-CD bug was a huge problem, but in R3, they didn't feel they needed to change anything, because it basically worked.
 
Completed the game with... only 200238 points and 52 cages.
I should try better, then it would be not so embarassing to upload scores to Hall of Fame. :D

I suggest you to try out some of the easier combos of Mandm's guide. I sometimes even do my own versions of combos i can't perform, and i still get a "good" score.

Try listening around the entire place to hear the Teensies saying: "Help". Also, use the camera to look around the place for secrets :wink: You might find a green gem or more.
 
I've just checked, updated some data and I think it is fully confirmed now.

I just would like to know Cut's and Rayman502's countries.

By the way, I'll do a question to the Rayman 3 HD players. Please tell me:

- Your nickname presented in the leaderboards
- Your country
- Your ranking in the leaderboards
- The version you play (PS3 and/or Xbox 360)

I want to add these to the HOF section of the wiki too.

*Notice that there are 5 cheaters with more than 10000000 points and another player with 971000. If 971k will be considered as an acceptable score according to r3hd max scores, then i will be 3rd. If not, i'll be 2nd.

That's kinda it.
 
Are all the glitches fixed in this version? I'd like to see a list of the glitches there are in this new version (PS3 and Xbox360)

Take a look at the R3HD page on the Wiki. Or if you mean the moonjump, lums glitch or others, they haven't been fixed.

I just don't know if the score of the seventh place is possible, because due to the removed score limitations it's possible to earn higher scores, but it seems way to high to me.
 
I mean, more RPC players of the Xbox 360 version. But thanks for telling me who's in the top of the leaderboards in general (without compting the hackers).

We only have to calculate the max scores for each level, as the original R3 best player has 858000 points, and the current R3HD best has 971000, which - i think - is a big difference. Howewer, i don't really think that someone would be that great in R3, but who knows.

Considering the points you can take due to the 100k bug, I think people can reach around 900k in R3 HD. 920k is a maximum.

FC : score maxed or almost maxed (maybe you can gain 1k more...).
TCLF : you can earn between 5 and 10k more I think with the skate level.
TBOM : If you can earn 5k more you'll probably be the best R3 scorer.
TLOTLD : between 17 and 22k more with the last level.

I don't really know how many points you can gain with DOTK, SBTC, HH and TOTL because it's a lil' more complicated :fou2: and i'm not a pro for searching better ways to top score...

That's why i say : 971k = FAKE! You didn't deceive real R3 players... :rigolo:
