The song Viva la Vida itself is one king of music. Really creative and caught my attention for Coldplay again since Clocks. Ah, miss the 00's. So many artists were at their best points during it. Kid A, In Rainbows, The Resistance, Hopes and Fears, Viva la Vida are just to name a few of the masterpieces released. I must say there have been several great albums since 2010. Gorillaz's The Fall, Radiohead's King of Limbs, Muse's 2nd Law. Alt rock like it was in the 00's seems dead, though. The closest to it that I've heard in a while is Keane's latest album.

I like how you mentioned Hopes and Fear/Keane. I was just about to, since I think I could consider that another one of my favourite albums of all time. Bend & Break was my introduction to them.

Keane's Hopes and Fears is the perfect example of a typical 00's alt rock album. Their best album by far.
