Gorillaz's The Fall, Radiohead's King of Limbs, Muse's 2nd Law. Alt rock like it was in the 00's seems dead, though. The closest to it that I've heard in a while is Keane's latest album.

I like how you mentioned Hopes and Fear/Keane. I was just about to, since I think I could consider that another one of my favourite albums of all time. Bend & Break was my introduction to them.
