There sure is! :D Thanks for reminding me of that.
The question is - which files do you actually want: the really short, 1-second segments of every song; the segments combined into 24-second parts; or just the tools I wrote to get them from the game (easier to upload, but much harder to actually use)?
Also, from which game(s) do you want them? I have all you could possibly need from Rayman M, Arena, 3 and even Rayman Rush (although for Rayman Rush it's one long file with small parts of silence between the segments). :P
 
Well I liked the format you used for the previews. The short loops.

I'm mainly interested in the Rayman M ones and it'd be great to have the Rayman 3 stuff as well but that depends. If you haven't gotten those yet then it's OK.

Maybe it'll trigger some remixin' sparks in my brain. :p

Alright! They're scattered across so many folders it's impossible to do quickly and I still have work to do (exams, which finish on Thursday), but I'll get them all together and make sure you have them by the end of the week. :)
The battle themes are a bit different from the race themes though - they were about 30 1-second parts and 2 30-second parts each. I made them 1 big track immediately without joining the 1-second parts first, so I can only give you the files in their original format there.
I have the Rayman 3 ones too, in their original in-game format: split into many pieces, which can be either short or long (ranging from 1 second to a few minutes). Most themes are cut perfectly for remixing, so I'll include them. ^^
 
I've heard some bits of the soundtrack and again, great job on joining up these together! :up: *300 Tings for you*

Am I the only one that likes the Pac Arena music? It feels like a retro Rayman theme. :mryellow:

And Pac-Arena is probably my favourite Rayman Arena-exclusive track :)
Strangely enough, I also really like the Rayman Arena version of the Teensies' theme in the Factory league.
I generally don't like the Factory versions of the themes in Rayman Arena, but this one in particular seems to give the theme a very "desperate" and much darker nature, especially around 1:35. I think it fits the theme quite well ^^

Hi! I've been following this board for quite a while but never got around to registering. Props to you, Drolpiraat, and anyone else working on those rips! I have a question about R3 seeing that you're doing it again now.

The PC version of Rayman 3 had 22kHz quality audio (at least on my discs). I noticed the PS2 audio archive is a lot bigger than the PC version - has anyone managed to extract it? Are the files higher quality? Or is the size bigger because it has more language versions for the dialogue in there?

I personally think that in Rayman M the Teensies and some other characters really fit with the factory theme. It creates dinamism for me, which is great for a racing game. :P
 
I just downloaded and listened to the tracks suggested, and blimey.
I really love that version of teensies theme, Droolie said it all, it truly does sound darker, but certainly more awesome at the same time.
