I highly recommend the Gamecube version if you have a Wii or old GCN console lying around. The PS2 interation is flawed with a lower framerate and problematic backwards compatibility on PS3 and PS2 Slim. The Xbox version doesn't play on the 360 as well, the HD upgrade definitely seems the way to go to play BG&E in today's times.Master4lyf1 wrote:The game is rated 7+ here, I don't know what ratings are like where you're from Schmooky, but if you were in England, you'd be able to play Beyond Good and Evil.
I've played quite a bit of Beyond Good and Evil, unfortunately, my laptop couldn't handle it well, and I ended up giving up since performance was terrible.

Are you serious? Even in PS2 slim it doesn't run well? PS3's early models already had a barrel of problems when playing PS2 games so... *Shrugs*Rayfanboy wrote:I highly recommend the Gamecube version if you have a Wii or old GCN console lying around. I own the HD version for PS3 and I think it behaved quite well.
In PC what's more difficult to do its to find proper keys to configure the controls of the game, I admit the first time I was playing I had hard time because of this.

The R4 concept art truly was amazing, you've said so yourself.

Indeed, it is truly some of the most gorgeous concept artwork to have ever graced my eyeballs.

Re: Rayman Legends
R4 artwork. Especially the very recently revealed and discovered art pieces from the scrapped game, they are really gorgeous and it really makes me having more pity of this game having been dropped. I do hope they reuse these ideas in a new 3D game, but with a better plot please.

Re: Rayman Legends
This is what lead me to believe another 3d title possibly as incredible as Rayman 2 (Maybe EVEN better) could have happened, real shame it was dropped. Must be awesome working at Ubisoft though, just being able to view all these unique concept arts, and betas of the sort for some Rayman games possibly.
Re: Rayman Legends
Release dates screw up everything when companies decide to hurry up.
Re: Rayman Legends
Yes, running the game in the PS2 Slim is plagued by long load times, sound problems (sound effects looping, no sound effects, no music etc.), and disc-read errors such as the game freezing up, I can't even replay the final boss because every time I go down the elevator to the final area, the game freezes on the loading screen.Haruka wrote: Are you serious? At least I know not to buy the game for ps2 now!
I really hope all the concepts for R4 are revisited in the future. A level in Rayman based around time has so much potential to be mind blowing it blows my mind just thinking of it.

Oh, wait I misspelled that. It's 'egotistical'. At least according to an online dictionary. Anyway, I meant selfish.Adsolution wrote:Where did you learn that word?TeensieKing wrote:agoistical
