So that's 720, right?

No, 720 is 36 x 20. This is 36 ^ 20, which means 36 x 36 x 36 .............. and so on, twenty times.

Which is about 1,33675 x 10 ^ 31. So the average amount of tries somebody needs is half of that, which is 6,68375 x 10 ^ 30. Good luck.

Oh yeah, if you want to know the chance that you'll get it right after ..... tries, just ask me. I need to practice for my test next week anyway.

Well, if X stands for the amount of possibilities, the probability to find the pass after x tries (x < X) is 1/(X-x)... Of course, if the guy does not use two times the same pass, if he did so, the probability to find it would always be 1/X.

You must have had very little maths to think that's the only sort of maths that exists.

Since when did I say it was the only Maths I knew. It is still Maths..

And if that is not good enough for you, what kind of Maths would you like?

I agree with Jona, calculating stupid things like that is uninteresting. The power of Mathematics is somewhere else :P

Hmm... proving things in 2D pictures, probability... it's what my test is about.

Probability huh? I like probability!

The chance that Jona is my second cousin is 0.0005!!!!!! :D

lol, and the chance that after less than 15 tries, you get a 6 or higher for the same test, is 0,2648. I hope you studied well...

It's true. I got the highest grade in English, average in Science but I SUCK at Maths. :|
