Hi! I've been following this board for quite a while but never got around to registering. Props to you, Drolpiraat, and anyone else working on those rips! I have a question about R3 seeing that you're doing it again now.

The PC version of Rayman 3 had 22kHz quality audio (at least on my discs). I noticed the PS2 audio archive is a lot bigger than the PC version - has anyone managed to extract it? Are the files higher quality? Or is the size bigger because it has more language versions for the dialogue in there?

As for your question, all versions of Rayman 3 have 22kHz audio - there's no way around that. The only difference between the PC and PS2 versions is that the PS2 version uses a different audio format, which isn't as lossy as the PC version's format - that's why it's bigger (if I remember correctly). The Gamecube version is currently the only version I have on my PC, but I'm definitely going to check the PS2 version out as well as I'm pretty sure the PS2 version's audio quality is superior.

Is it me, or does all the Rayman M / Arena music not work? I'd love to listen to it all, but now none of them work...?

The RayTunes server is having problems, if you want to listen to the soundtrack, you'll have to obtain it via the MEGA links Droolie presented.

That was the point - it used to be our temporary data storage server, but there seem to be a lot of problems with both the main and the datastorage server now. Apart from that, I haven't really got any news either.

A lot of the music on the site is offline due to problems with Romano's servers. They're currently trying to find a better solution but it sure is taking some time...

Well, I asked Drolpiraat to notify me once the new Rayman 2 OST is up, since I was wanting to upload them all in order. If that's already happened, then I must've missed something. If it hasn't, then screw order, I'll start uploading the Rayman Arena soundtrack. I can work on uploading them really fast, I was just waiting a little too long for news on the Rayman 2 OST.

Though, that'll have to wait until Wednesday, since I'm roosting on the top of a mountain for a week.

I guess I forgot to notify you then - the Rayman 2 soundtrack has been up since 2011.
Rayman M and some other soundtracks are still down (they were on Romano's data storage server and they're probably still there). I checked just now and it looks like any problems with the RayTunes site are fixed. Now, all that needs fixing is that storage server... *sends another PM to Hunch to check on the situation*
Oh, and I updated the main page with the MEGA links in the meantime.

Yeah, Droolie uploaded the new R2 soundtrack and Rayman M/Rush/Arena soundtrack since a good while. The remakes are greatly done.
