Yep. From my experience, nothing gets a babe hotter than assigning a numeric value to her body.MrBadGuy wrote:Damn straight they're a priority, friends are one thing, but I'm not getting all up in someone's face if they're not attractive.
She must be at least an eight or nine.

That was funny. You know, just clarifying if you weren't sure if you expressed something that was ironic and absurd and made me snicker.spiraldoor wrote:Yep. Yes, thankyou for pointing this out, I forgot to mention that you must tell the girl how you rate her before asking her out.spiraldoor wrote:Yep. Btw actually I think most women do like it when you rate them a high number, at least younger ones, although this isn't something I've personally done out loud before haha

I think I missed a chance to get this girls number, because it seems her class let out early. Last day. Oh well.
Time for the gym. Sometime this week.

OK, I have deleted my above posts (sort of, anyway, I don't know how to actually delete), but in my defense I got the idea from Neo posting details from his life, so, anyways, sorry for pulling a darkkitty.sergiomonty wrote:NOBODY IN THIS FORUM FREAKING CARES ABOUT YOUR FUCKING LAME LIFE...

Is that a thing? Can we make it a thing?technology4617 wrote:sorry for pulling a darkkitty.
I love reading these discussions. They're insightful, thought-provoking and have made me laugh through and through.
And here are my views:
Religion as a concept is beautiful; you have something that can give you meaning in life when the harsh world will give you none. The practice of it, however, sadly, is flawed - at least, some of its practices - and only leads to violence and rage between religions and ignorance in the foolhardy ones. It's exploited and it's corrupting and sadly, malpracticed, but sometimes it's done right and that's where it's Good. I myself have no idea whether there is or is not a higher power watching over us and neither will I ever know; this is why it would be a higher power, should such one exist. The thing is that it's just easier to be able to blame something above yourself for things that seem unfair and it's nice to be able to thank something if you feel such thanks are needed, but there's noone around to give it to properly. I've shortly believed in a god - I've shortly believed in natural powers being controllable to a certain extent. I guess I like to try out things as I go along and I'm happy for it.
But my religion, my true religion, is Life - that I know that I'm alive and that I believe that I live with every fibre of my body and every single breath I take.
And my dreamgirl/-woman/-manbearpig has no definition. Appearances are important, yes, but only superficially; once you get to know someone who at first is ugly, and you befriend them and get closer (not necessarily because you're seeking a relationship), you'll learn to love that face that once was as hideous as the night and its imperfections at one time turn into unique little quirks you enjoy.
My ideal partner is probably similar to myself; she'd - or he'd; I'm pretty certain I like girls, but you never know - be into making music freely without hesitation and be courageous enough to do things in groups in spite of what they might think of you; you're just trying to have fun and sometimes that works or fails... but you can only find out by trying.
I guess she should care for me for who I am, but then if she didn't, she'd probably not be my friend to begin with. Ideally she's someone I would never wish to not be around - but then such person does not exist, of course - and she'd appreciate me for who I am and who I could be - and I'd appreciate her for the same. If she's into Rayman, Doctor Who, The Who, JJ Cale and drawing, that'd be amazing, but come on - what are the odds of that?

He's going through a phase, you silly. Being confused about oneself's sexuality is more normal than you think.spiraldoor wrote:Most people do know. Well, I've never liked boys/men before so it'd greatly surprise me. But then again - life's full of surprises. Like I said, I'm pretty sure I'm not bisexual - but then I can't tell the future now, can I?sergiomonty wrote:He's going through a phase, you silly. As it was said before, atheism is in no way a religion. It is, however, a belief, just like religion. I assume that's what you meant.JamesDNaux wrote:I just don't like religion, the thought of blindly following something without question, and even atheism is a form of religion.
The Big Bang was not an explosion.JamesDNaux wrote:I don't believe in the big bang either, how does it make any kind of plausible sense that the entire near-infinitely expansive universe came from a particle too small to even be seen that just happened to explode?
The theory of evolution does not state that species evolve to become better able to survive. Evolution is not a conscious process: giraffes did not grow long necks to eat leaves on tall trees; it is natural selection that favoured the populations with the longer necks, mutation after mutation, because they were already better able to survive. Also, the Tyrannosaurus rex and modern birds, such as the chicken, share a common ancestor, but the latter are in no way the descendants of the former. And finally, you seem to imply that the less impressive, the less evolved a creature is. Small mammals did not take over huge reptiles for no reason: they were a lot more fit to the new environment, hence their survival.JamesDNaux wrote:I have a similar stance on evolution, I do believe that species adapt to better fit their environment, but changing into something completely different altogether is just strange. Even so, the evolution theory contradicts itself as well, scientists claim that species change to become better able to survive, yet the same people say that the modern day chicken is a descendant of the T-Rex. How is that adapting to survive better? It went from eating everything to being every black family's Sunday dinner.
Back on topic, the looks are definitely as important as the personality to me. While I agree that favouring the former hinders one's chances of having a successful relationship in the long term (it happened to me), I could never be happy with someone I'm not attracted to both physically and intellectually. However, plenty of things can make up for ugliness, and while it will always be a no-go for me, I can understand that some people (especially the less attractive ones) settle for unattractive partners.
In terms of looks, I like tall, blonde, slender, fine-featured women with preferably blue eyes. In terms of personality, I like someone loyal, easy-going, caring, energetic, helpful, intelligent, curious and cultivated. Probably too much to ask for!

Re: How should be your dream girl/man
I've noticed I'm more easily attracted to people with wild, curling and preferably brown hair. If it looks as impressive as a lion's manes, it blows me away instantly (and yes, I've seen such do's).
People with exploding hair are amazing. People with exploding minds are impressive. People with minds that explode their hair are insta-win.

Re: How should be your dream girl/man
I know someone who is developing an application for smartphones that gives the result of what is the gril/man of your dream according to criteria about your ex and people you have a crush on, like size, color of skin/eyes/hair, pilosity, breast etc. I find it ethically awful but still, I'm interested by the result!
As for now, I don't really have a dream girl. I think I prefer brown hair girls but that is probably the only physical criterion. I want her to be funny and make me laugh.
