Who also uses their smart phones to post here at RaymanPC?

What's the app management like on iPhone? I've had problems with excess running applications on Android, with a lot of my RAM being taken up as a result.
 
The app management is great, I've never run into any lag whatsoever, and it's extremely easy to swap between them within a split second.
 
Yeah, I have to admit, long pressing the home button on the iPhone and just switching to another active app is much more convenient than how its done on Android.
Perhaps I ought to look into extensive tweaking, I've unlocked the bootloader and am on a Custom ROM, but I've never done much under the hood work myself, that being said, I don't trust myself that much to do so.

Quite the opposite for me, I find the iPhone to be an amazing product but I can think of countless better and cheaper alternatives to the MacBook.

It may be cheaper but most Windows-based laptop will start running slow after a couple of month, even if you do use it correctly (First Day on the Internet Kid, if you read us...). Plus, the battery of the MacBook still works for 4 or 5 hours after years, which is quite amazing.

Same here, I don't know if I should blame it on Android or HTC and his device's planned obsolescence. Kind of annoying.
 
At least you can go to the RAM from time to time and do a clean-up to save battery to the Android device.
 
SystemCleaner is nice free app on Google Play for cleaning everything. Plus it transfers everything on your memory card which I myself prefer.
 
an iphone is easier to use. i tested once an Android phone and could not handle the interface. And I heard that Android phone can get Trojans and Viruses.
 
Both iOS and Android have good and bad things about them. iOS for example have too many restrictions about what you can do, but I like interface a lot better
 
To catch a virus in an Android I think you really need to be uncautious with the use of the device.

Anyway, I dislike how iOS restricts you in many things while Android doesn't. The OS updates are also free in Android by the way.

OS updates are free for iOS too. Just saying. I have both so I know. Plus you can always Jailbreak iOS. To me, having iOS device that is not jailbroken is like having a brick :P
But I do agree that Android is overall better.

Ah, but so can the iPhone, depends on how you use them, dear Em.
If you don't mind my asking, which Android Phone was it you tested out? Y'see, different manufacturers provide different interfaces, just compare Touchwiz to Xperia Home, for instance.
 
Both mine and my mom's phone are android based, but both have a different interface, as Master mentioned how manufactures generally provide different ones. Plus, if you root your phone you can even change that.

For example, I could update the OS on my phone to a newer one. I've done it, but I switched back due to certain features not working in the beta... which I should check on that again and see how far they got, it's been a while...

Hm, HTC Sense is a bit of an odd interface, though I believe the recent HTC One made it more user friendly.
Android has the capability of using variously different interfaces, the one I use is Xperia Home, and I think it is pretty decent, and compares to the iOS interface.

@Hoodcom, I use a custom CM10 based ROM.
 
Xperia Arc S I got last year, for a pretty decent price, actually.
Ofc, it never actually got an official JB update, the stuff I use is mostly from ports and custom work from devs, the ROM is use is mostly stable, it is host to crashes and a few other issues, but all in all, it works ok.
However, my brother, who also owns the same phone, wasn't quite as big a fan of the ROM, it didn't provide the same grunt when it came to gaming apps when we first had them (they were on GB), as such, I put him on a GB ROM customised for gaming, it was stressful doing so, but I got it done.
