I'm more into long conversations than posting for the sake of posting. I must say though, I've been quite happy with the quality of discussion in the Rayman forum over the last couple of weeks.

I wonder whether the PC version will support Murphy in co-op. He could be controlled using the mouse, but it seems difficult as sometimes you need to jump immediately from one side of the screen to the other in the gameplay videos. Touch-screen PCs might be more interesting.

I was thinking it would be great with graphics tablets - I've got my Wacom ready! i imagine they'd just be lazy and port over the PS3/Xbox version :|

Typing with an ice lolly in one hand is hard

Yeah, the problem is that not everyone has a tablet. So who knows what they'll do when they port it to PC.

Yeah, I was secretly hoping they were going to add back the scrapped characters from Origins (Tarayzan, Uglette etc.) but there you go. I guess Barbara is supposed to be the new player character and deserves some spotlight or some such excuse :P.

The new characters aren't just Barbara and her sisters though, we've already seen some new Rayman and Globox skins, and one that we've been predicting is Tarayzan.

Yeah, I saw the posts a couple of months back regarding the suspected Tarayzan. It's either that or just a generic Caveman themed Rayman, which knowing the direction of the game (with Sir Rayelot etc.) is sort of likely (although considering Tarayzan is a bad pun like that in the first place.....;)). I guess we'll just have to wait and see..

I would hope he controls smoothly enough with a mouse if that's the case.

I guess that would depend on the success rate of your mouse. So many times have I tried to play mouse controlled games in the past with a dodgy mouse that locks up at inconvenient times :P.

I once had a mouse that wasn't working, and after trying several things, I tapped it with a cuddly toy and it worked. It turns out that there was something lodged inside (probably a piece of dirt) and my cuddly friend knocked it out of place :P. </thishasgonetotallyofftopic>
