Vacation? Alert us!

I've been away from wednesday to monday, enjoying myself at the Dour Festival. That was utterly awesome.

I never left, Em, all I did was go to a different place in the country where I was limited in my internet access.
It'll always be tea for me, dear Em.

Hi everybody! After a long week, I’m back from Portugal! :)

And this trip was great! The weather was sunny and I’ve visited beautiful and interesting places. Here’s a summary of my tour:

Sunday 21 - Queluz (Palácio Nacional) and Sintra (Palácio Nacional)
Monday 22 - Sintra (Palácio da Pena and Palácio da Regaleira) and Óbidos (Town and city walls)
Tuesday 23 – Batalha (Monastery and Aljubarrota battlefield)
Wednesday 24 - Tomar (Convent of Christ and Church of São João Baptista)
Thursday 25 - Lisbon (Alfama district)
Friday 26 - Lisbon (Parque das Nações)
Saturday 27 - Lisbon (Belém district)
Sunday 28 - Cascais (Coast and town)

It was a memorable trip, and I will definitely go back to Portugal one of this days. :)

Welcome back boomboleros7
I am glad you had good time. Did you took some pictures?

Thanks! :)
I've took A LOT of pictures.
I can show some of them, if you're interested. But not immediately. I must unload my camera first.

Warm welcome back from me also, good Boomboleros, it seems you enjoyed your time off, and have returned to us safe and sound, good to know!

Welcome back! I'm so happy that you liked the visit! :D

You went to great places in general, but I only visited the Palácio da Pena, Lisbon (Both the Belém and Parque das Nações regions) and Cascais, not the others.

When Clara visited me for the first time in 2011, I took her to the Parque das Nações, to the Vasco da Gama shopping and to the Lisbon's Oceanary. ^^

I would love to see the photos. :D

If I am ever in Portugal I totally wanna try Ginja de Obidos.

Not exactly a vacation but not going to be active this Saturday due to bridesmaid-ness. :fou2:

Hmm.. the only things from poland that interested me is the nightlife in lisbon like in the cities here and the heat. Too bad in winter you don't have it over 30 degrees.

That would be positively horrid indeed.
Though we do tend towards 0 in Winter, sometimes delving into the negatives, still, not as chilly as some other areas.
