Re: Crash Bandicoot
From my experience with the Crash fanbase, I actually see an utter hatred for Tag Team Racing! Far from being a "favourite".
Re: Crash Bandicoot
Exactly. They treat Tag Team Racing very similar how they treat Titans and Mind Over Mutant because it is developed by Radical as well, and I guess they did not like gameplay.

Re: Crash Bandicoot
I'm basing from what I heard off youtube, I heard so many people say they really like it.
For example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SlYi_zsusQ
this guy counts Tag Team Racing as his favorite in the racing series.
He even counts Crash Twinsanity as his #1... wut.

Re: Crash Bandicoot
Ironically, this is also the only Crash racing game I've played before and played it up until I could beat it in one day. But Rayfist does make some valid points which kinda make me want to play the previous Crash racing games.

Re: Crash Bandicoot
Somewhat off topic since we're not talking about this specific Crash game now, but Wrath of Cortex was also my first game. I liked it when I was younger, but I kind of have an indifferent feeling about it now. It felt too much like a not-as-good emulation of the third game for the sixth generation consoles. I also wasn't much of a fan of Crash's design in that game - they fucked it up a bit, but it's still not even as close as bad as the designs in the previous two "Crash" "games". Plus the underwater levels were a bitch in WoC.

Those are all of the best levels. Well, except for the underwater levels (in WoC, at least).Bzzit wrote:These are among some the most enjoyable and memorable stages of the series in my opinon!Rayman fan2000 wrote: I hated ALL the polar bear, tiger, boulder and underwater levels in the games.

I did not like underwater levels in Wrath of Cortex (Crash 3 underwater levels were fine)
I did not like Totally Bear level in Crash 2.

Re: Crash Bandicoot
It may sound ridiculous but shit like this is what a gamer like me may cry from... I know it sounds ridiculous, but this video nearly brang me to tears (I didn't cry obviously but it was really saddening), the Crash series has so much potential and most of these companies barely scratched the surface with Crash Bandicoot... fuck Crash Mania, fuck the fanbase, and Crash Bandicoot is done, I totally agree with Jeremiah, I agree, I'm done with the series and having hope, it's pretty sad to see... seeing my childhood crumble like that. I guess we should look forward to Crystals Wrath since it's the only hope for Crash. The fans worked too damn hard to get the series back to life again, but it's clear that Crash is dead now, rest in peace...
Re: Crash Bandicoot
Rayfi, I'm sorry, I know what you mean, and understand how heartbroken you are, but I can't stop imagining your avatar/rank saying all that and making me laugh.

Re: Crash Bandicoot
Haha, understandable, just saying it is something that brings me a bit to tears.
The Crash series seriously has so much potential and I think Naughty Dog, despite how AWESOME the games were they made, they barely touched the surface. I think the only people we can rely on are the fans.
In all honesty, being a Crash fan must feel like shit, having to deal with endless sad news, seeing your childhood hero crumble, it's pretty sad, but I guess we must deal with it.

Ah, a grand pity, but I lost hope long ago, I'm afraid.

Re: Crash Bandicoot
I'm pretty glad not to be part of the Crash fanbase, it really is sad what they must have to deal with. Oh well, at least Crash has died peacefully, at least they aren't dragging out his fucking corpse like they are doing with Spyro.
Re: Crash Bandicoot
I just hope Crash is not dead, as there are a few people working on fangames. Crash Return looks sort of like it is something that would bring Crash back.
