Yep. After the installation, you must use your UPlay account to activate the game with an online keycode.
This keycode is on the manual.

The French manual is a joke, by the way. There are just seven pages. :)
It speaks about the controls, the plot of Legends and that's all.

I was talking to Serza, since I'm already installing the STEAM copy.

I'll see if I can go to FNAC tomorrow at dinner time to lift my Wii U copy.

Shit. I dunno like that kind of DRM. PLEASE tell me if the steam version just requires steam and nothing more.

I got weird error on Steam saying that game is failing due to missing executable. I deleted appcache folder how Steam instructed me and I am trying again. First time, download was only 112MB but now it is 4.6GB

Nice job, Ubisoft :| . UPlay is asking for a CD Activation code, while I legally bought this on STEAM. Great job with the DRM, guys: it is preventing honest people to play it rather than protecting from piracy.

Well, it would certainly be funnier if the portuguese distributors happened to distribute the retail PC version of RL rather than just the console versions.

I finally got back from my exam. I also stopped by the game shop and got Rayman Legends! I'll start playing it tomorrow morning. :D

Sad to hear about all the problems with the Steam version though. Hope you all get to play without problems soon!

When I right click on Rayman Legends in Steam there is option view CD-Key
I will test it out when my game gets downloaded

It is fixed already. STEAM just have added an option to show the product key. It works now!
