I fucking hate the competition video that won. There must have been a better entry then that.
Suck a coCK IT'S GOOD
But I don't wanna suck you :(

It treats people like their idiots. "Look! A man in a suit taking money from a poor person! That man is evil! WE MUST FIGHT AND RESIST THE EVIL SYSTEM RGN2I1R2G3I4YRG42I!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". Put that together with "mysterious art style" and clearly this video is very meaningful!!! This video isn't a shocker. It doesn't make you realise anything. I prefer it when someone makes something with the intention of simply expressing their feelings rather then thinking "I want to make this very meaningful and intelligent thing."

The reason why There There's video is one of my favourite music video's is because you could simply see it as odd and artsy, or take a second look at it and realise what it's actually saying. The concept of "Government people are bad" is something anyone knows and when we see it we don't react like we've just learned something we never thought about before.

^I instantly loved it. It's minimalistic with a beautiful atmosphere, the kind of darkness Coldplay needs. It almost feels like the introduction to some kind of "A Rush of Blood to the Head 2".

I wasn't sure but having given it a good 20 listens or so I'm positive to this track. Very. I think this is much stronger then their latest album, having more arranged instrumentation and like you said, minimalistic with a beautiful atmosphere. Uplifting, great chorus and a different choice of instruments then what Viva or Rush of Blood would have on a song like this. Dark.

Oh, and love Martin's voice. While his higher tones are beautiful, I found his lower voice to work extremely well with the sound. This all has made me tons more excited for whatever they'll have on their next album.

Alter Bridge - I Know It Hurts

(They're coming to Scotland soon to play a gig, I must find a means to attend! Also hope this means a new album is due out!)

As much as I haven't listened to Coldplay for a long, long time I actually really liked that song. It was darker and as Keane has said it is has a lot more atmosphere to it.

The amount of times that I've repeated this in the past couple of days is both immeasurable and insane. I regret nothing. A simple yet complex song - like any Floyd song - that captures my current feelings at the moment.

This band will always be amazing. All I have to say about 'em - oh never mind that I lied, I'd like to add that I very much appreciate their dabbling into prog. rock.

I'm hoping the new album will drop next year. I'm really eager to hear studio versions of Full Stop and Cut a Hole, although looking back at what was played live for previous albums it seems there's just as much of a chance they'll only put Identikit on the album.

I've been in quite the prog. mood recently and I continue on my prog. spree. It's safe to say that I'm going through a second prog. phase.
