Ah yes, the one where you have to avoid them, else Sonic gets morbidly fat and dies.

Hm, I don't think it's a horrible loss, while the Subspace Emissary was fun, it wasn't anything spectacular.
Adventure in Melee was better and simpler and stuff.

Agreed, though I don't like it as much as I did back when I first played it, I feel it's much better than Subspace Emissary which got monotonous after a short while and don't even get me started on that maze :(

I quickly got bored of SSE. The story wasn't interesting at all. It was silent, empty, and awkward. There were short bits where seeing characters interact was funny, but not memorable. Not to mention that Nintendo had to actually explain the full story on smashbros.com because it was way too complicated. Like, Rayman Origins-level of complicated. When I finished the game, I went to the website and read the story... My thoughts were pretty far from what the plot was actually meant to be. Seriously, I thought Dedede was marking his property, not trying to save everyone with a bunch of "magical medals".

As Rulez said, I think the Adventure mode in Melee was much better.

I didn't like Subspace all that much either, but I'm sad they're getting rid of a story mode. It's one of those things that if it didn't work one time, try it again, but better.

This is why Sega/Sonic Team do best localizations. They never limit any region and all regions can check out all languages. That is how every game should be.
Well, now I can pretty much get any version of Wii U knowing that I will get to enjoy listening to my favourite Japanese voice actor.

Hm, it was more a side thing than a main thing, it took Smash fighting, and added Kirby's style of platforming and the like, but with more fighting.
I'm glad they're not bothering with it, while it was fun, I think that time could be put to making the main experience even better, let's not forget also that there's also a 3DS version in the works.

Considering that Yellow Devil is there to be some sort of boss...

I assume there will be some sort of story mode, but it will be as basic as the adventure in Melee, and not a complex story like in Brawl.

I think it'll be like the mode where you go through a set of stages with challenges in them in Brawl. (Is that what Adventure Mode is like in Melee?).

It's been rumored Sonic Lost Worlds may be delayed again until November 29th, hopefully this isn't true, and just a typo.

So Sega have put up a bunch of mini trailers (they're only a few seconds each) for Lost World, showcasing a very specific thing in each video (a level, a wisp, the parkour, combat, etc).

However, this one sticks out...it's named "Classic Trailer".
I don't see why it's named that, unless maybe it's referring to the return of Classic Badniks, but they don't even seem to be the main focus of the trailer.

Maybe it refers to classic Sonic gameplay in general, running fast, bouncing on springs, grinding on rails and the like.

Well, the game mechanics are rather new, albeit bearing some influence from the Classic and Adventure titles. So maybe that is the case.

Good news everyone!
Aaron Webber said the November 29th release date was just a typo. The game is still coming on October.
Also, that Black Wisp music.

We Europeans are lucky, it's coming on October 18th for us. And if you live in the UK and order from ShopTo, you could get the game on October 16th, if you're lucky, meaning you'd be getting it pre-release.

I don't think I've been truly hyped for a Sonic game since Heroes. I may reconsider this one for a release date purchase. Gah, this year has so many games announced I want.

This is a list I've been keeping. (?) games are one's I'm not sure about:

Earthbound
Mario Kart 8
Mario and Donkey Kong: Mini's on the Move (?)
Yoshi's Island
Yarn Yoshi
Wind Waker HD
Super Mario 3D World
Super Smash Bros. 3DS & Wii U
Sonic Lost World
Pokemon X&Y
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Wii Fit U
Wii Party U (?)
Mario Party 3DS
Mario Golf: World Tour
Mario Party 3DS
Watch Dogs
Pikmin 3
TLoZ: A Link Between Two Worlds
Kirby 3D

I currently have 24 euros to spend. Oh the joy.

I'm REALLY want a demo to come soon.
There's one thing I've been wondering, are the Wisp involved with the story? I saw Yacker in a screenshot, so they must be.
