...Is it bad/should I stop?
I try not to do it too much, and I generally only do it in off topic sections. I'm known for making use of them on the other forum I'm on (though I try to keep them fairly small).

If I recall correctly, the guy who made that video is a friend of MTP. Either way, it's still a funny video.OldClassicGamer wrote:This guy is very skilled when it comes to making videos. Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
Jim Sterling has his hands on a review copy of Lost World.
May I remind you guys that this is the same person who gave Colors a 4.5/10.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
4.5/10 for Colors?
Even MTP rated Colors higher and he trolls about modern Sonic (he gave Colors 6/10)
I am really waiting for Jim's review just to see what idiotic nonsense will he say. Twitter post does not sound good to me.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
IGN's and GameSpot's reviews of next-gen Sonic Unleashed were the start of my "professional reviewers are full of bullshit" stance on things. Honestly, I don't trust reviewers at all these days, I only read them to find general information about a game, or if I like a game or am interested in it, I like to see how it does out of concern, I guess.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
Unleashed was best on PS3/360 and game really had no reason to be criticised that much while Wii/PS2 versions were not. Seriously, they were inferior. Also, funny pic

I agree 100%. Say what you will about Unleashed, it did not deserve a score LOWER than Sonic 06.sonicbrawler182 wrote:IGN's and GameSpot's reviews of next-gen Sonic Unleashed were the start of my "professional reviewers are full of bullshit" stance on things. Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
Unleashed was not a broken pile of crap with glitches and long load times.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
While Unleashed next gen is one of my favourite games, it's not the kind of game that I expect people to love. But at the same time, I think calling it terrible is really pushing it. It's AT LEAST mediocre - the game functions well, and it's production values were through the roof. Most of the criticisms made my IGN and what not were completely untrue, such as "consistently unresponsive controls". Unleashed and Generations do have the odd bit of unresponsiveness, but nothing worth docking points over. It's very rare, from my experience.
The WiiS2 version, on the other hand, while still decent enough, does NOT deserve more than the next gen version. I actually get quite a kick out of the Werehog's stages in the next gen version, but in the WiiS2 version, there are only 3 or 4 stages I enjoyed. The rest were either filled with too much bland fighting (as the WiiS2 version hardly had any moves, and felt real stiff), or awkwardly designed platforming sections. And while the daytime stages are still good fun in the WiiS2 version, I don't think I need to go into how much better they are in the next gen versions.
Also, some interesting news has surfaced:

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
As I said earlier in the thread (one of my first post actually). While it's nowhere near perfect, Unleashed was a step in the right direction. Following with Colors which was a jump, and Generations WAS pretty much the goal ring. Lost World seems to be expanding even further with it. At the same time however, I'm a bit worried with Lost World seeing Sterling's review. Not that I think the game will suck, it looks great, but seeing as Sterling's tweet was "technically" the first review and it's somewhat negative, worries me with other reviewers such as IGN and Gamespot. I just really want a demo to come out so I can see for myself.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
Like I said, popular, AAA reviewers aren't to be trusted. Especially with Sonic games. If you want an unbiased opinion of the game, keep a watch on Sonic Retro or Sonic Stadium, they always do a review and because they are written by dedicated fans, they don't sugar coat, or try their best to knock the game for no reason. Even when I disagree with them, their points always are valid.
For example, IGN gave Sonic 4: Episode I a high scoring review, but as a negative criticism, complained it had no co-op. They didn't even mention anything about the terrible physics, like many Sonic fans can.
Heck, if you guys want, I could post a review here when I get Sonic Lost World. I won't post the review until I've at least finished the story, but I will post my impressions and some screenshots as I play the game. And I may record footage somewhere along the line.
